I've called to see if there's a recall on the car fuel system to be exact fuel gauge is reading full is broken. Reads full when there's only 5 to 6 gallons of gas. They won't even look at it free of charge to see what the issue is. This happens when I'm driving or sitting.

I was driving my car down the road heading to get something to eat. It was a Sunday night, it just started misting rain. I drove on my usual curvy 2 lane paved highway and then proceed onto my usual 4 lane paved highway to mcdonald's where I got food inside and then upon leaving decided to go through drive through for another item. I left and headed approximately 3 miles back on the same road I traveled to town on. As I was on the 2 lane ithe all of a sudden appeared to be raining heavier and I could tell by the rain crossing over my headlights. Something different than normal caught my eye, it looked like orange rain, I assumed just the appearance from one of the bulbs. Unsure though, I continued driving but scooted to the edge of my seat and set up tall to getta better look, at that time I seen flames. The car was on fire, I couldn't pull off side of road as it has no ditches just ravines so I slowed down and tried unlocking my door to open it wouldn't and my window wouldn't roll down, terrified I proceeded to call 911 and inform them my car was on fire and I was in it driving down the road and was hoping to get to next road I knew I could pull off. The entire time never did anything warning lights or gauges come on nor did the temperature rise. I finally was able to exist the car fully engulfed in flames. The police department and fire department finally arrived. Theyou got it put out but it was complete loss. I have no idea as to why this fire happened I took well care of my car, maintaining it regularly as recommended and always cautiously driving it. I have another Nissan Altima that's still running strong with 300,000. 00 miles on it, so this should show I care for my vehicles above what's recommended.

I simply turned on my car when the rpm and speed gauge went out of control from 0 to max in stationary mode, the car was parked in my garage spot. This process occurred several times in a row, along with this the car engine was extremely loud making roaring noises and shuddering and vibratign. When I put my foot on the brake pedal nothing happened the car continued with the rpm and speed gauge cycling from 0 to max, I did not feel safe to attempt to drive the car. Last month I had to have the car service because it would not accelerate while I was on the freeway the max speed on the car was 30 miles per hour. I got off the highway immediately and the car turned off when I parked it on the street. It took 3 attempts to finally turn on. The car did this again on a second occurrence before I could get it to the dealer, I was driving on the street and again the same issue occurred. The car stalls, jerks, vibrates on its own at random times. Each time I have had my preventive services done at the dealer the car is in near perfect condition and nothing can be diagnosed, then the car has these incidents occur with no warning.

Purchased used car from Infiniti dealer in fort myers florida. Three days later I was unable to get a gas gauge reading and the car would not start. I waited a minute and the car started. This has happened 6 times out of the 10 days I have owned the car. I am reading other complaints and found that other owners of the 2010 Altima are having the same problem with the car not starting281. I think a car with 26,000 miles should start without a problem.

A few months ago, while cleaning the interior of my car I noticed the dashboard was sticky in a small area on the driver's side. Thinking it was something that could be cleaned I applied an adhesive remover but had no positive results. Now that we are in the dead heat of summer, the problem has gotten worse and has now spread to the passenger side along with creating an unbelievable glare from the windshield. Now, when I touch it, pieces of the material stick to my finger. That was real eye opener to look into it and see if it has been a problem with other Nissan owners. With only a few mins. Of research I'm finding that it's widely common, especially here in FL. I have also noticed a crack that spans about 15 inches along the bridge of the dashboard just above the gauges. This isn't the Nissan quality we hear about! totally unacceptable!.
