The vehicle airbag light is flashing on the dash. The dealership found an error code 'b1054' which indicates a driver airbag module problem. Service department cleared the code but it has since returned. Repair has not been performed but service notes indicate a possible clock spring/spiral cable replacement. This a $900 part + $400 labor fees the consumer is left to pay for a safety feature that is supposed to come with the vehicle.

Airbag light randomly began flashing. Code pulled as b1035 crash zone sensor. This vehicle has never been in any type of accident. Upon researching vehicle and code it shows the same year and makes of vehicles having exact symptoms as well as code of b1035. Even on the NHTSA website regarding this recall- it does show a picture on the pdf file of a Nissan Armada image showing instructions on how to install the recalled sensor. This needs to be reviewed immediately and make corrections with adding the Armada being part of the recall. It has same exact sensor part and I feel that this should not be held on the vehicle owners part as clearly it is a defective part. There will be additional calls I will make if needed to the attorney general's office if this does not get resolved in a prompt manner and if an accident occurs and does not deploy airbags because of recalled part that was not appropriately added to a nhsta list, there will be legal advice sought regarding liability and injuries.

The airbag light is on and my vehicle is not that old. It's flashing in a pattern. I purchased the best extended warranty and because airbags usually don't have problems my extended warranty doesn't cover it. I haven't been in any accidents or anything that would cause the airbag light to be on. It's always on.
The fuel shows that I have a quarter of a tank or a bit more left and the number mileage on the screen shows the same. My vehicle randomly stops without warning. This has happened 3 times. I had the vehicle repaired last year for the same reason and here I am again. I see there is a recall and my car was not included. I called Nissan and the representative told me told contact NHTSA to be more effective. . . . . He acknowledged the problem with the trucks. I feel as though it is a definite safety hazard. We were lucky this time. My air bag light will not shut off either and he mentioned this was another recall. . Why did this VIN miss the recalls. It clearly has those issues. They want me to go to a dealer and I cannot afford to do that. The dealers are more expensive. Hopefully there is assistance. There is a rattle with the a/c fan. I don't know what is going on with that however I have an odor from it as well. Again I am bringing it back to the mechanic however the tow company gave me the recall info and I don't understand how this truck was missed. Can you help with the recall for us. Recall #'s 10v51700,10v074000,10v349000. Our thanks.

On Monday while I was driving my daughter, sister, niece and nephew to school I noticed that the air bag light was flashing. At the time I assumed it was the seat belt light so I had everyone check to make sure that their belts were buckled. After realizing that everyone was buckled I asked my sister to google search what the light meant. Come to find out that there is an issue with the air bags in this vehicle, I drove to my fathers house and he hooked up his code reader and we found two codes one was b1182 and b1023. B1182 is for the air bag system and the b1023 was for the passenger side airbag saying that it is inoperable.

Takers recall airbag light is on.
Heating problem stopped working, replaced part and had to unplug a unneeded wire harness and relay in order to restore heat. Fuel gauge not working or reading properly. Still trying to find resolution. Front windows and locks stop working at any given time. Still trying to resolve. Check engine light, faulty exhaustsystem needs to replaced. Hard starting still trying to find resolution. Airbag light on was suggested seat belt buckle replacement.
The air bag light continues to flash. I called the dealer and they said that the cost to look at it is $150. 00 and the repair cost can be up to $1800. 00.
Takata recall I am thinking my truck may be part of the reecall. For no reaon at all my airbag light came on. We have not had any accidents to trigger this. This is on all the time.
My mechanic did a diagnostic and it showed driver side airbag module open my airbag light on dashboard has been flashing for months.
I purchased my 2017 Armada in may of 2000 and my airbag light has been blinking off and on. I took it to a Nissan dealership and they told me that it could be my cabin airbag or my side panel. They said they checked my modular under seat panel and they said it wasn't any wires loose but what ever they did it stopped my air bag light for blinking but they said it will come back on and it did. Now it's time for my car to get inspected this month . What can I do.

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Armada. While driving 70 mph, smoke appeared from the engine compartment and the vehicle stalled. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that a pipe burst. The pipe was replaced. Several days later, while driving approximately 20 mph, the vehicle lost power and the service engine and other warning indicators illuminated. The contact stated that the fuel gauge displayed between 1/4 to empty. The vehicle restarted once the contact placed fuel in the tank. The contact also stated that the front passenger seat air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired for the air bag warning indicator or the fuel gauge misreading. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
Brake keep going out while driving doesn't happen all the time. . . But when it happen the brake light on and when you try to step on the brake it shake and grind. . . I report this a coupe time already and still nothing happen. . . And with the airbag light keep coming on and when I reset it two day later it come right back on.

On two separate occasions the airbag light had been flashing when turned on and when driving. First visit to Nissan I was told it was a senor in the buckle mechanism. On the second visit was told it was an airbag electrical issue.
Break system failure has happened to me more than once. For some reason it sounds like they're are rocks in between my brakes and the rotors. I have to reset the system by shutting the car off and turning it back on. I almost had an accident on the freeway because of it and no indication other than the noise that it was happening. Also, when a passenger is in the seat the airbag light does not turn off. I and hasn't for over 5 years. The driver side and/or passenger side seat belts also do not get recognized as being used since the flash indicator on the dash keeps flashing. When I took t in to the dealer they said there are no recalls but it's a safety issue. The vehicle has less than 110000 miles on it and had less than 80000 when these issues started. I just want my vehicle to be safe and everyone else who has the same one. Brake system, dealer can't diagnose unless I drive in there with the problem which isn't safe and happens occasionally. I may have video of the noise from the brake system which I will look for.
I got this vehicle around Dec 2013. I had them fix the air bag light because it is going on and off. Dealership is hudson Nissan. Fixed the harness. August 2014, I had the same problem fixed thru freehold Nissan. Now, July 2015, I have the same problem again but I am out of warranty. I asked Nissan corporate to look into the matter and if they can fix it for me without any fee because I felt this is not a moving part and the problem is persistent. This is a safety issue because I don't know if the air bag will engage upon an accident. Nissan corporate declined to fix it for free. Im just afraid that even if I have it repaired and pay for it, the same thing will happen after a while. Pls look into it.
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the air bag indicator illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the code was cleared but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to an authorized dealer, who diagnosed that the air bag needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 124,000.
Air bag light flashing. Dealer charged 130. 00 for diagnostics to say $460. 00 harness needed to be replaced based on bulletin ntb06-001. Not repairing could cause injury or death to passenger as bag may not deploy.
The instrument panel fuel gauge inaccurately displays that the vehicle still has some fuel, about one quarter tank, when the fuel tank is empty. The vehicle stop working on several occasions while I was driving on the road with my family in the truck. I did not now that it was because of the gas. Fortunately no-one was hurt but it could have produced a series car crash also, passenger airbag light comes on so dealer had to change the old one.
Brake booster malfunctions during normal driving causing unsafe breaking. Brakes almost lock up when pedal is depressed. You have to pull off the road, turn truck off and back on to work, and sometimes you have to do 2 or 3 times. Dealer wants $1k to fix booster and from what I have read, it does not always work fuel gauge malfunctioned, ran out of gas 2 times when gauge still shows 1/4 tank. This is a recall on newer vehicles but mine is a 2005. Airbag light is on and dealer states needs replacing.
Multiple occurrences - while driving, the brakes begin to grind, stutter, and stop working. I had to downshift in order to slow the vehicle, and pull over. The brake light will illuminate as this occurs. After stopping the vehicle, it must be completely turned off for a few moments, and then it will go back to "normal. " this has also occurred while exiting the freeway - not safe! airbag light is constantly on. Many of the electrical parts are not working. We thought Nissan would be the best vehicle to buy. But have had nothing but major problems. Please send recall for brakes and airbags.
The airbag light has bee blinking since 2011 and I found out this year that there is a recall for that purpose. I reported to Nissan company about that after my car was rejected for the annual inspection. They told me that the VIN# of my Armada was not included in the recall. I have since heard that there is another recall of Nissan cars from 2002 and up. I wonder what action I can take since my Armada falls into the years mentioned. Thanks.

2005 Nissan Armada 4/22/09 airbag light on, authorized Nissan dealer replaced front seat harness left hand side under warranty due to recall. 12/10/10 airbag light on again authorized Nissan dealer replaced front harness right side and airbag harness. 7/15/201 airbag light on again authorized dealer wants to charge us $1200 to replace entire harness system not related to the other 2 recalls they cannot pass us for the state inspection or guarantee the airbags will deploy in an accident or that the seat belts will work properly. Service manager tries to get my supplemental warranty to cover the repairs and that is denied. Why does this problem occur so often in so many instances with repair after repair and nothing ever corrects the problem . It is a safety issue not a wear and tear on the vehicle. This should be the responsibility of Nissan to guarantee our safety in this vehicle. We took the car back to drive as is we cannot afford this repair and based on everyone elses experience it will not be completely fixed anyhow.
The contact owns a 2004 Nissan Armada. While driving approximately 45 mph the air bag light illuminated stating that the air bag was deactivated while there was a passenger in the passenger seat. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 76,000.
The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Armada. While driving approximately 35 mph on normal road conditions, the brake, vdc, slip, air bag, and tire pressure warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. Suddenly, a chime sounded inside the passenger compartment and automatically stopped without assistance. In addition, the contact smelled a burning odor inside the vehicle the day before the failure. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and they stated that the failure was related to the air bag harness. The vehicle has not been repaired. The failure and current mileages were 11,293. Updated 10/21/10. The consumer stated the brake, vdc, slip, air bag and tire pressure warning lights illuminated and have done so repeatedly. Updated 10/26/10.
2005 Nissan Armada. My airbag sensor light has turned on and remained on for no apparent reason. The vehicle has not been in an accident and was recently serviced by the local Nissan dealership about a week ago. Prior to the issue of the air bag light the braking system appears to be intermittent in stopping the SUV, which is also felt in the brake pedal while braking. I have addressed this to the dealership but they could not identify the cause. This all may or may not be related but this is very important to the safety of driving. To my knowledge similar problems are addressed in the 2007 and 2008 Nissans vehicles but nothing yet for my 05 Armada. How can you help? I would hate for these problems to be the cause of an accident one day. These complaints are very similar to others on your web site.
The red airbag light flashes on the dashboard. I took it to two Nissan dealerships and was told that it was most likely a failed sensor in the front passenger seat but could not be sure until it was replaced for approximately $1400. 00 not refundable if that was not the problem. It could also be the restraint system associated with that seat. Reportedly from both the dealers comments and my research on the internet this is a common problem with my vehicle type.
1) 130lb female adult sitting properly in the right front passenger seat is unable to engage the airbag system. No matter the seating position, e. G. Upright, slouching or otherwise, the indicator light shows system is disabled. 2) vehicle was taken to local Nissan dealer who was unable to diagnose a solution, suggesting that a greater weight was necessary to engage the airbag. 3) comparable vehicles, and Nissan documentation show that weights under 60 lbs should disable the airbag feature. Nissan is deficient and negligent in allowing this vehicle to be operating with a known serious defect.
