The car keeps shaking. My mechanic did say that Nissan Jukes have a faulty transmission. They did things to my car to try to fix it but I still find it shaking uncontrollably.

My car after 80,000 miles started to have severe engine and driving issues. I was in a construction zone on a highway with the speed limit of 75mph and my transmission started to act up. I was low on gas so I filled it up and when I start back on the highway it would gain no speed and the rmp's would shoot up to 6. I road on this road for about 15-20 minutes at 35-50 miles per hour until I could find and exit and a side road to get me to a safe stopping point. I had to shut my car off two time during the duration and both times there wasn't a shoulder so I was in the grass. It was incredibly unsafe, and I found out two of my best friends had this same exact thing happen with their car. Since they have quit making this car and I have found most of the models made have recalls, I find it irresponsible to not inform everyone that has purchased this car of potential issues. I am a 23 years old women and it is remarkably unsafe to think I have a reliable care that out of no where breaks down, after I have done my due diligence to keep it in the best shape.

Car has 64000 miles and while it was driven the timing chain broke and bent the valves . I called Nissan and there is no recall even there is too many complaints like mine . New engine $5000. Where is the quality Nissan used to have . With this and cvt transmission issues you need think twice and may be switch to Hyundai or kia ,at least they have 100000 miles bumper to bumper warranty.

My 2013 Juke sl broke down while I was driving. The car slowed down and then came to a stop and wouldn't start. It was towed to a Nissan service dealership. They found that the engine timing chain broke and damaged my engine. I waited weeks to hear back from Nissan corporate office. They will do nothing. I bought the car brand new and doesn't have 60,000 miles on it. The Nissan dealership will give me 500. 00 for trade in. 2011-2013 Jukes have had this faulty timing chain. I can't believe Nissan won't do anything for me.

Since purchasing my 2013 Nissan Juke I have continually had problems driving on the hwy, especially when it's hot out, driving my car on major hwy (I-5 interstate), I drive from CA to or about 5 times a year my car will suddenly, no warning light, decelerate from 70 mph to 30 mph almost causing me to get in a accident every single time it happens right now I'm on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and I'm just hoping that my car is going to start again I barely made it to the off-ramp this is a documented all over the web by hundreds of owners! the 2013 Nissan Juke this turbocharger or whatever it is with the engine that is making this happen is so serious I could die on the freeway and I don't want to die when Nissan should be replacing these it's a known fact and Nissan is not acknowledging it if you look at the blogs and other complaints online you will see thousands of people have complained about it too I don't want to die because of this and I can't afford to put in a new turbo charger or a new engine in my car when this is a known issue!! Nissan has a legal responsibility to replace these parts for us for their customers and our suffering from this. It is beyond an accident waiting to happen when you were on an interstate freeway in your car goes from 70 miles an hour down to 30 or 40 and will barely go over that you can barely even get off the side of the road without getting run over by major huge trucks it is a total safety problem and it needs to be addressed. There are no warning lights or anything that even shows you what it could possibly be and people who go to Nissan and say this happened they always say the same thing well it didn't happen for us while we were driving it so we don't know what it is they know very well exactly what it is. Thousands or hundreds of people who are complaining about this are all not lying.

Approx 1:00 p. M. I pulled into the wendy's drive through and the line was wrapped around the building. There was a large like Ford truck in front of me. Car turn off while driving in low speed. Or after a turn no warning lights or check engine codes whatsoever starting on Sep 26 2019. And keep doing it at least twice per day.

While driving on the interstate, the car slows down and will not accelerate. If I press the gas to get out of the way of on coming traffic the car skips and does not go over 40 mph. I try to get to the far lane in hope's of not being hit. I turn the car off and try to start it again and the engine light comes on, try again to start it and it slowly moves until it gains speed and I keep my hazards on, engine light goes off and it has been doing this periodically ever since.

Turbo has come apart, with no warning! car was in excellent condition before this happened. This shouldn't have happened and a very expensive problem at that!. I'm taking a loan for the repair since I need my car. Every Nissan I've purchased before has been very dependable. I was told this a big problem with the Juke and need to be recalled. Please consider the recall on the Juke turbo, I love this car but can't afford anything else to happen. My car has been sitting in my driveway for 2 months, so I could come up with the money. My husband die in January 2019 and money is very limited.

Takata recall to whom it may concern my 2011 Nissan Juke has been having some electrical problems when I purchased the vehicle it came with a remote start two weeks in the vehicle wouldn't start with the remote start whenever I pushed the remote start it would click and wouldn't come on. It also made the two car keys I had not work and the monitor screen wouldn't turn on. I replaced the batteries on the keys and also the car and eventually disconnected the remote start ast the problem still proceeded. After doing so it worked for a couple months fine except for a few glitches in the monitor now it's acting up again while I was driving it the screen went off while driving I turned the car off and the screen comes on again. Then the car stops while I'm driving. I had a local mechanic check he said it was my timing chain in my engine I found an article on cars. Com that said the repair is covered under recall. I'm still making payments on my vehicle and I have no warranty the repair is expensive about 2,000 to fix so I am without a car.

I have a 2011 Nissan Juke. There was a timing chain recall on all 2011-2014 Nissan Jukes. I was not notified of any recalls. When my timing chain broke, I was told by henderson Nissan in nevada that the valves were damaged because of the defective timing chain. A rep from Nissan's corporate office told me that my VIN number does not fall into the recall category for the defective timing chain so they did not want to pay for the $9,000 for a new engine. There is a class action lawsuit in California in regards to the timing chain.

Timing chain broke on a 5-year-old, 72,000 car. The 2013 Nissan Juke's have a history of defective timing chain, yet Nissan would not give aid for repair of my car.

I have noticed a strong fuel odor when I first start the car for the past few weeks. Evidently it is a leaking fuel pressure sensor. It appears there is already a recall on this problem (under NHTSA campaign id:14v683000), but my specific VIN is not included. I have just over 60k miles.

I arrived at an out of town destination to find I had oil covering the motor. Mechanic stated there was a 2" gash in the front cover of the timing chain, which was coming from the inside out. Google search revealed there was a previous recall for the same issue but when I contacted Nissan, they said my vehicle was manufactured at a different plant and was not covered under recall. Different days. Car died while driving straight 30 mph in town on main st. Car died in middle of the road, was unable to start the car again. After repeated pushing of the ignition start button the car finally started. / car was parked at home in the driveway, I got in to leave and the car would not start, again repeatedly pushed the start button and it finally started, this has happened 5+ times. / driving on interstate 80mph car would not rise above 3000 rpm and would not accelerate above 45mph. Pulled the car over turned it off for 15 mins restarted and it was normal again. Happened 10+times. / upon starting the smell of fuel is strong inside of the car, sometimes while driving in town the smell of fuel is there. When the car turns off the smell fades away. Happens almost daily.

On 10/01/2015 my 2015 Nissan Juke was at Nissan of fife washington with 50 miles on it and it need a battery and also a recirculation vavle to be replaced the car would never be the same again problem after problem the turbo went out and they told me it was because I neglected the vehicle . They replaced the turbo and it went out again within 200 miles they told me it had sludge in the engine well this sludge that they are refeering to is actually the oil and coolant mixing now they want to void my warranty with only 27,301 miles on it 2 years later I need some help getting them to pay for this lemon.

Under warranty when taken to dealership warranty cancelled while at dealership and currently at dealership sonce 12 21 2017.

I was traveling on the interstate and it started loosing power and smoking really bad so I pulled off the road and called a tow truck. Had it pulled to the shop. They said the turbo went out. Had it replaced. Drove it 2 weeks and it started doing the same thing. Set on the road for 3 hours. Had it towed again to the shop. He said the turbo went out again. Been there for 2weeks already. Lost my job because I couldn't get to work. Had no way so right now I'm without ride. Illy has around 65,000 on it.

My Nissan Juke 2014 awd vapor locked in hot weather. The dealer was aware of the problem and told me to use 91 or higher octane gas and not to fill the tank when refueling. They also reprogrammed the car. Though the dealer took great care of me the explanation seemed strange. The car was simply turning off when idling. It hasn't happened since, but I am now more fearful driving it.
