My dashboard has been melted for some time now and it’s a safety hazard. When I drive at night, the light reflects on the dashboard and it makes it difficult to see, which is very dangerous with my kids in the car. I thought I could clean the dashboard but it’s very sticky. Apparently this is a common issue with certain models of cars because I saw a news report on it.

The floor boards on both the drivers and passenger side front have rusted out. Most of the other metal/ flooring has not rusted out like it has in these two spots. The rust does seem to lead up close to the sub frame which worries me of the integrity of the frame. The flooring has rusted out to the fabric/insulation portion of the interior. Also of concern is when you are getting in and out of the car the floor is so weak that your foot/leg could go through it. In time your feet can and will go through the floor with out warning.

I rented a Nissan Maxima 2018 for a road trip. Unfortunately, I didn't have the renter car insurance coverage I decided to go with my insurance. However, I was driving down the express way and I heard what sounded like a gunshot the sunroof exploded with no known explanation. I was devastated. There were glass flying all over me and my friend who was with me at the time. I feel like the car was a defective car and unsafe car! they are now making me reliable in all the damage cost to a vehicle that I had no control over. I did some research and found out that there were lawsuits from Nissan known sunroof explosion. I'm not sure if theres a recall on that particular car. I need suggestions and guidance. I wish I never rented that car. . . .

My daughter parked my car outside at approx. 10:30 p. M. At 2:05 a. M, it ignited and exploded. My state farm investigator said it ignited due to abs actuator leaking brake fluid onto the circuit board. I called Nissan because there was a recall for this but they claim my car was not included in the recall. I had recently purchased the vehicle and only had it like 20 days. Car was totaled!.
I've noticed not just in mine but on other 2009-2011 Nissan Maximas undercarriage issues. I've asked a body shop for an estimate and they said they've done quite a few of those and it doesn't resemble normal wear and tear.
The car has a sound as if it were metal fatigue in the front of the hood a hard blow sounds loud every time the car moves from one side to the other they have not been able to find the problem they say what is a factory defect I am afraid that it is a metal that is under fatigue and the engine falls on the ground running on the street.

Evap recall; severe rust; power steering is weakening; motor has extremely loud start; not safe to drive more than 2 miles - stopped driving today after the car's brakes and rotors were changed due to horrible rust issue.
While driving on a straight, flat, and smooth stretch of highway in nassau county, NY, I heard a sudden loud explosion. I first assumed it was a tire failure, but the car continued straight and true without any vibration, shaking, or erratic movement of any kind. I pulled over onto the shoulder and upon inspection, I saw that the front portion of the panoramic sunroof had a large hole directly in the center and was shattered, with bits of glass from the explosion resting on the still closed sunshade. The incident occurred on a parkway where no commercial traffic is allowed, and it was just after 7:30am on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 so traffic volume was extremely light, almost nonexistent in either direction. There were no other vehicles traveling ahead of me, next to me, or behind me within any close proximity. I was traveling eastbound at or below the posted speed limit of 55 mph.
The floor boards rusted out on both driver and passenger sides and we were not aware because the carpet covered but you can fit a fist through each one! should not happen!!.
Abs and brake light came on flashing periodically over a weeks time, speedometer stopped working, next day the parked car 5 hours cold caught on fire around fuse box area everything electrical burned up. Police report was done but I do not have a copy, still waiting on fire marshal report. Upon researching online other vehicle have had same issue.

The left side mirror on the driver side is blocking the view of the road and people crossing the hike making left turn. I was at a signal and waiting for yield to turn left and at the turning the driver side mirror objected the view and completely missed a walker crossing the road until she was almost head on. . Diagonal left views from driver side are blocked.
My sunroof shattered on Sunday, June 03 at 12pm while I was driving east bound towards chicago on 290 highway. I was driving at 60mph on the highway and all the sudden I heard a loud pop noise and my sunroof glass shattered. The road was clear and there weren't many cars around me. Luckily, I wasn't injured. I have already checked with several body shops yesterday, and the cost is over $1000 to fix my panoramic sunroof. I also reached out to Nissan corporate, and reported this issue. The case number is 31546264 and I spoke with barbara, badge#7319182. She called me, 6/5/18 at 10:34am and told me Nissan will not be responsible since there's no sufficient evidence. I told her I have photos of the damage and she asked me to send it to her for review. I find it strange that she didn't ask for any photos or evidence yesterday when I called to report the incident.

Instrument dashboard on top is melting/sticky all over causing the material to become very shiny therefore creating a safety issue. The glare during sunny day in south florida is causing a safety issue as I can't see pedestrians or certain vehicles when the sun hits the dashboard. The center console around the radio is cracking and separating near the passenger airbag creating a safety concern. Vehicle was purchased used in 2012/2013 and this started to occur September 2017.
Air bags failed to deploy. I was involved in an accident that caused substantial front end damage. I was traveling westbound in the flow of traffic on highway 84 at approximately 30 mph. The vehicle in front of me slammed on brakes and came to a sudden stop. I applied my brakes but was unable to avoid impacting the rear of the vehicle. Upon impact the entire front end of my car was crumpled. Both front quarter panels, front bumper, grill assembly, and hood were destroyed. The windshield also cracked. With the extent of the front end damage, the air bags should have deployed.
The floor boards on m/v are rotting. It is a known issue, Nissan has been aware and never told the buying public. Please force a recall to fix issue. My Nissan only has 54k for mileage and has been well taken care of. Discovered the issue as a result of having struts and break work done to the car.
