3 weeks after purchasing my vehicle brand new with 0 miles the back seat warmers stopped working and the back lift gate stopped working. The hatch had a recall on electrical. That was replaced but did not stop the issue. The lift gate continued to be off and on with its function. At 38k miles while driving my car shut down with complete power loss with a no key detection. Car was towed, no code thrown, batter was corroded after just being serviced 3 days prior with 0 corrosion. Windows were slow to roll down jumped battery and was then just replaced. The issues continued with windows being slow and then to the point I was having to force and assist the window manually to roll them up. Again my car would not start 3 months later. The car was jumped at home. 6 months after initial loss of power it happened again on the interstate with my children in the vehicle going 75 miles an hour during 4 lanes of traffic. Complete electrical failure resulting in having to pull over to inside shoulder. Could not be jumped and was taken to another dealership. This makes the 7th time at a dealership with electrical problems with no codes and a 24 hour diagnostic test administered. My safety and the safety of my children were at high risk multiple times and was traumatic to all parties involved.
Vehicle began issues with no acceleration after coming off of the brakes. Has to double tap brakes to get vehicle to continue to drive. Then it progressed into the tail lights would not shut off after the vehicle was turned off, which would in turn drain the battery. Then it progressed once again into the vehicle would not start as it was not sensing the brake being depressed on a push to start ignition system. The fix was faulty relays known in prior years from 2013-2014 same fault in 2015 model but no active recall. Second issue when a/c system is activated there's a vibration coming off of the fan assembly which causes a loud sound heard while the vehicle is stationary. Also a separate recall on 2013-2014 Pathfinder but does not cover the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder.

I had just bought this vehicle off of ebay from individuals in new braunfels , texas drove it back to amarillo , texas. I went to drop a load of items off at amarillo's giving closet for people in need. It ran perfect on the way over there. I turned the ignition off while I was unloading everything. When I went to start my vehicle it would not start although the lights and things would come on. The vehicle was later towed to a shop and I was told that it was being caused by the vehicle control. Now the transmission is messed up acts if there is no 1st or 2nd gear taking off in 3rd gear automatic transmission. Since then my husband was pinned under a seminar trailer he was working on and lost his leg. I can not afford to pay for another vehicle. Please help me. I was just informed of a problem with Nissan and this.

Car had begun shuttering and engine would rev real fast. On particular day car actually quit working for good, husband had pulled into parking space because check engine light came on and from that point forward the car will not crank. When car first started shuttering and revving, car was taken to transmission business and there were several cars of the same make and model (not certain that all were of same year) waiting to have transmissions replaced because coolant had leaked into the transmission and gradually killed them. Worker at transmission shop knew exactly what was going on when husband explained what the car was doing, and said there were many people who had had the same complaint.
My car would not start one morning so I had to call a tow truck to take it to my mechanic, he called me to tell me that the radiator was allowing moisture or water to go into the electrical part of the transmission and the transmission has completely fried. I got a quote of $4000 to $6000 to fix or rebuild it. He then told me there are thousands of articles online about the problem and that since my car was at 109,000 miles there was nothing Nissan would do about fixing it even though there was nothing I did to cause the problem!!! I still owe $8500, as I have only had the car for 2 years, and I sure can't go buy another car. I have 3 small children so now I have no car, can't afford another and Nissan will do nothing to help.

At 60,000 miles my engine, catalytic converter failed. Nissan replaced these components. Shortly after. . . Winter 2010-2011 car would not heat while idle. Had coolant replaced. Summer 2011 acceleration power issues/shaking. Took car to dealership (north point Nissan in little rock). Replaced recalled part (relay switch) but refused to examine power/slippage/heating issues because the diagnostics reported I had a bad battery. Did not place one of their batteries into my Pathfinder to find problem but sent me on my way to get a new battery. Also telling me that bad batteries cause cars to do crazy things at o'reilly's auto store they tested my new battery and it tested fine. Unbeknownst to me all of the signs my car was exhibiting were the tell tell signs of the radiator/transmission defect. I am still unsure why they did not pick up the symptoms and properly diagnose my automobile. Problems persisted. . . The next winter same issue. . . More coolant. In June 2012 my Pathfinder would not start. . . Diagnosed with transmission radiator issue that thousands have experienced. Nissan sent a warranty extension to most owners of Pathfinders. My Pathfinder was not included in this extension . . . ???? for whatever reason they believed this defect did not apply to certain batches. Had Nissan sent me a warranty extension I would have immediately taken my car to be repaired. As it stands now my Pathfinder sits waiting. . Please hold Nissan accountable.
