The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. While driving approximately 55 mph, the contact noticed that the fuel gauge was not working. Normally, the instrument panel would display how many miles remained until fuel was needed according to the fuel amount. Ever since the failure began approximately three months ago, the contact was refueling the vehicle more often since the fuel to mileage system failed. The dealer (dartmouth Nissan, 83 s state road, north dartmouth, massachusetts) was informed of the failure and stated that there would be a diagnostic fee. Due to the fee, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 185,000.

I got a recall paper for the passenger air bag sensor, when I took it in to get it fixed they tested it and said it was fine. The light still comes on with no one in the seat. Then the fuel gauge where it tells you how many miles till empty showed nothing but 3 lines for 2 days and I was told that this in not an issue for this year and nothing was done. Now the brakes will go to the floor more when being pressed and the vehicle will start rolling so you have to push harder on the brakes. Just yesterday the mileage that is suppose to be moving while driving to show how many mpg you are getting went all the way up and stayed there the whole time I drove. There is no way I was getting like 50 miles per gallon going 45mph. I try to get my vehicle in to the Nissan dealer where I got it from in las cruces, nm and I keep not getting answers or more excused of what is not wrong with my vehicle. How do they know they are not driving it? I am very unhappy and will be changing vehicles soon!.

Heating system is not working. Very often while driving the car, it will make a strange noise coming from under the hood followed by a vibrating/shaking movement from the same area. The speedometer has also at one point failed to move, it was stuck on the zero mark.

The gas gauge on my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder doesn't work properly. This problem has been recalled on several other year models, but they will not fix my 2005. I have run out of gas 3 times, once with my grandmother, my 2 yr. Old daughter and my 2 month old daughter. I cannot afford to fix this problem. The brakes have also gone out twice on this vehicle.

The warning light illuminated until the engine was turned off. The rear hatchback latch was not properly securing the door. The contact stated that the failure was related to a malfunction with the door striker. The vehicle will be taken to an authorized dealer for diagnostic testing. The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that fifty percent of the time when she occupies the passenger side front seat, the air bag sensor control module indicated that the air bag was deactivated. She weighs 120 lbs and is approximately 5 feet tall. The dealer stated that the seat was not defective and advised her to file a complaint with the manufacturer. When she resets the trip odometer on the instrument panel, it does not match the odometer located on the navigation computer. She took the vehicle back to the dealer and they stated that the number on the navigation computer was a 2 percent difference from the odometer on the instrument panel. The current mileage was 1,500 and failure mileage was 500. Updated 03-05-08
