I was sold a deceptive van at the end sept 2020, I did a test drive with the salesman, pointed out several issues with the van like check engine light on, traction light on, air bag light on, remote missing to control tv, the salesman told me not to worry about all the lights that's on he will get that fix at a later date and to buy the tv remote and a deduction will be applied to my contract. I was fine with that, but that hasn't been the case. I admittedly start to find other issue with the van the more I drove it like the rear wiper motor is not working, the complete steering wheel is not working so the horn, cruise control, bluetooth settings, radio volume button. I have made the salesman a where of this but his whole tone changed. I was told to get whatever issues fixed myself and maybe a deduction would be applied to my balance, once again I said but that's not what we agree on. So now its time for my temporary tag to expire, was issued a new one 3 times but had to take it to a shop to let them manipulate the system because the van will not pass marta/emission to get register for real license plate with the check engine light on. The van is missing the Cadillac converter and the salesman will not put one on said you do not really need it on the van. At this point he said in a conversation with me that a previous owner had the van for about a month and returned it for issues, but when I said I'm not satisfied with the van and want to return as well, it was pass 2 months now and as long as the van gets me to point a to point b that's all that matters! once again the more I drive the van I'm finding issues so now the button on the radio get stuck when pushed in, controlling the heat and air it has a mind of its own, so when I turn on the heat, the ac button will not turn off, also the automatic window buttons don't work properly. This van is unsafe to drive period.
The air bag light glitches on the dashboard, it turns on and off. The only windows that open are the front door windows, the back side windows could barely crack open && the temperature inside the vehicle "with the windows open" reach dangerously high temperatures that literally are harmful and dangerous. A family vehicle with no ability to open any window on the 2 sliding doors, can lead to very high temperatures even though the front 2 windows open is still not enough for air to reach passengers who sit in the middle-row especially passengers who sit on the 3rd row seat in the back of the van. A recall must be done to adjust the windows on both sliding doors on each side to be able to roll down the windows. . . The temperature trapped inside the vehicle[passengers and seats area] with all the windows open was of 99, on a regular sunny day. . . . We drove to where we had to go and no type of air would reach the back seats where my daughter was sitting. . . She began to have problems breathing and was sweating so much. . I keep her hydrated especially when we have to drive far because the ac doesnt work and we cant roll any window in the back down sin e they dont roll down. . . When iturn on the ac the smell of gasoline begins to come out through the vents. . . My car wasnt included in any recall u had before which my car Nissan Quest sv 2004 clearly shouldve been included for the airbag recall. . . .

I purchase a used Nissan Quest in June 2016 couple weeks later the air bag light starts flashing. Another thing is the cluster that reads over hearing and miles flashes and twitches. My vehicle at the time of purchase had 121,246 miles I'm the second owner. I took to courtesy Nissan and was told that the flashing airbag light is nothing to worry about, but I have seen several reviews and complaints about the airbags and can't stop worrying since this is a family vehicle. Another issue with the vehicle is the sensors and timing chain gave up soon. Also at to replace air conditioning system. This has been a hole in my pocket since I purchased. States there is a recall but I'm not sure.

At 104,000 miles my 2007 Nissan Quest front passenger air bag light started blinking. I started the van one morning to take my daughter to school and noticed it was just continously blinking. I took it to the Nissan dealership and was quoted $700 for the repair. I wanted a second and third opinion so I took it to 2 other places. Both places refused to work on it and instructed me to immediately go to the Nissan dealership because the airbag was faulty. I returned to the dealership with the paperwork from the two repair shops and was basically told the 2 repair shops were incompetent. So I decided to try one more repair shop; keep in mind none of these repair shops had any idea I had been to the dealership or other repair shops. Once again the third repair shop told me the airbag was faulty and I should go straight to the Nissan dealership.

In a frontal crash, which rear ended another vehicle, at 35 mpg, on a city street, none of the airbags deployed, driver or side airbags. The airbag light had been flashing since I purchased the used 2006 Nissan Quest, having approx. 235,000 miles.
The contact owns a 2004 Nissan Quest. While driving various speeds, the front passenger side air bag off indicator illuminated when an occupied was present. The failure recurred sporadically. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign numebr: 16v244000 (air bags). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.
The consumer noticed while the passenger was sitting inside of the vehicle the air bag light appeared on the dashboard and remained on. The air bag light was deactivated because the passenger weighed 120 pounds. The weight sensor activated and malfunctioned. The consumer was able to drive the vehicle to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic informed the consumer that the vehicle was operating as designed. The consumer informed the mechanic that this problem has occurred more than once and has not been resolved. Please fill in additional information.
Engine light on - computer code: anti-knock sensor estimated repair @$350. Did not repair; reset system, light did not reappear for 3,000 miles, reset again. Door locks intermittent problem, esp. With slider. Airbag light flashing, cannot afford repair. Read light burning out bulbs (twice within 3 mos. ) after market repair caused different problem.

Weird electrical problems,I have taken to 2 different people, 1 of which specializes in transmissions, the problem is that when the vehicle is warmed up the transmission doesn't know what gear it is in, on initial investigation the problem appears to be the trottle position sensor but that was replaced and still no fix. They hooked up computers to the car while driving and say the computer doesn't read the tps being operative during driving but no problems can be found with the wiring and computer board. When the engine transmission starts to mess up the locks start to lock and unlock by themselves while driving, the check engine light is on and the overdrive light blinks off and on. At one time the air bag light come on for no reason it was checked and problem found. The sliding door latch broke within a couple of months of buying. The back windshield wiper motor would also come on by itself, we ended up taking the fuse out for that.
Airbag light had been flashing. Consumer called to dealer who stated repair might cost between $500 - $ 2000 . Not repaired. The air conditioning and heating smoked real bad and had quit.
Airbag light is on. Dealer quoted $ 1000. 00 to replace sensor.
