Vehicle has front axle clicking sounds when turning right or left. It also makes clicking sounds when driving over bumps or entering driveways(uneven concrete surfaces). I brought it to a Nissan dealership several times and they acknowledged the issue. However, they have not been able to resolve the issue.
To the best of my knowledg the front lh drive shaft came off the transaxle case leaving me no power of steering or breaking forcing me into the center divider. If this happened on a freeway driving speed limit or a busy street the accident would be fatal. Problem has been confirmed by Nissan themselves the year and make of my car has been recalled for this issue. A few days prior I did smell oil burning and was going to the issue looked at at the dealership unfortunately this accident or malfunction happened. There was no police report but the police did show up to make sure I was okay and they called the tow company affiliated with the department so I believe there's some record of it but no actual police report was made because I didn't feel that it was needed because no one was involved other than myself.
I have been having several issues with this vehicle since I bought it. I’ve had the vehicle break down on me about 3 times and need repairs or adjustments to previous repairs. The main issue right now is that the car has been in the shop for about 50 days or so for repairs on the suspension or tie rods, inner/outer. I’ve had the same issue with vibrations and shaking coming from the front end when going about 60mph. This has been going on for about 4-5 months now since I bought the car back in June. The car has been repaired about 6 times already and still no resolution to the problem. The technician at the dealership said there isn’t anything else they can do as all the work they’ve done has been by the manufacturer’s recommendation and book. My other main concern is the car tends to pull or jolt when driving sometimes. The car has also been needing an alignment every so often. I’m not sure if it’s because the rack and pinion is broken or needs to be replaced. The boots around them keep tearing or coming off. This is my 2nd time hearing a technician tell me about them. The motor has been replaced already at 32k miles, 2 weeks before I bought it. Lately the car also been tugging and or shifting hard. My other issue is the back up camera and the windows, along with the outside button not working to keyless entry feature. I’ve been having several issues with the back up camera lately. It’s always dull and dim when switching from p to r, the screen turns dark and black. The other side issues are the button for the windows not rolling up or down. They seem to be getting stuck. This makes it hard sometimes as my kids don’t like the a/c on as much. It gives them horse cough. When it’s hot the car has no circulation or ventilation besides turning the a/c or fan on.

New car purchase. Started hearing loud creaking popping sounds from right front end when turning. Present at all speeds. Dealer inspected, requires special order axle replacement. Car with only 2500 miles. No warning lights.
I bought my car in June 2023 and I’ve been having problems with my steering wheel. The dealership's goal was to fix that issue. They said they fixed it, but I’ve been having the same issue since I bought the car. They had me pay a $500 deductible to fix the same issue since I bought it. Today is August 15, and they haven’t offered to fix it. I believe they are taking advantage of the fact that I’m young, and I'm very aware that I’m paying $27,000 for this car. Please help me I believe the previous owner lied about what was wrong with the car an I was sold a car with unseen issue that the dealership fails to disclose to me, I believe fail to hold there end of the contract.
Tie rods have no remedy, I have my car parked because its unsafe to drive and have called dealer hundreds of time and all they say is they're working on it. How long do I have to wait on a car I am making payments, this is awful.

Bad vibration in steering wheel. Feels extremely unsafe due to tie rods.
Unresolved knock/pop sound coming from the front wheel passenger side. Dealer replaced front passenger strut, this did not resolved the issue. Apparently now the dealer is telling me it's an engine mount that will get an engineering update soon from the manufacturer.

On November 13, 2023 my son eric took the Nissan Sentra in for service at coggin Nissan for a routine oil change. My son told me before I made the appointment for service that he thought that some of his fluids may be low because the steering felt weird. I requested that the steering and other fluids be checked as well as the tire pressure. After the service on the Sentra was completed service we were provided with their recommendation for additional services. They listed that the all four tires were worn and needed to be replaced which I thought was odd. They also recommended an alignment and replacing the brakes pads. There was no mention of any other services being required or any mention of a recall. Before leaving I asked the gentleman at the counter if the fluids and tire pressure had been checked and he said they were and that they do a multi point inspection on all vehicles being serviced. I also mentioned to the gentleman that my son was still having problems with his battery, and it was brand new. The gentleman stated that the batteries are not made the same as they used to be and don’t last us long. On Saturday, November 18th, just a few days after having the car serviced my son eric was taking his girlfriend home at around 10:30 pm and was driving on baymeadows rd before getting on 95 north. He was having issues with his steering and was unable to steer, losing control but was somehow able to pull in to the parking lot of a bank. He hit a curb or something, the tire blew out and he doesn't think he hit anything else but the front bottom front piece on car was hanging and had to be removed. There was also some other damage near tire. I thank god that he hadn't gotten on the highway when this occurred otherwise this could’ve been a lot worse and lives could have been lost.
Catastrophic failure today. Car was towed with special tow truck to dealer after hours. Will know more tomorrow. While driving passenger right front tire: upper tie rod broke, lower control arm broke, trans-axel broke, smoke came out of hood. Right before this happened the car experienced a shimmy in the steering wheel and to keep car driving straight I had hold steering wheel at angle to the right (40mph). Next the anti-lock brakes engaged then disengaged. Four or so miles later I got a dashboard warning that had “malfunction” on almost every system (all amber lights). I pulled over at gas station immediately called dealer and was advised to bring in it ASAP. I put the car in reverse attempted to back out of parking spot, got 4 feet out and a horrible clanking/popping noise happened maybe 3 times and smoke came from engine compartment. I tried to put car back in gear to pull back into parking spot - but car would not move forward or backward. Got out and visual inspection showed front right tire had torn away from car and was hanging and car body was sitting imbedded into tire causing a dent in the panel. First tow truck driver said damage was so bad, they had to call a different kind of tow truck. Car then towed to dealer tonight after hours. Don’t know full extent of damage yet, tow truck driver thought transmission damaged when axel pulled away. What happened preceding this: I had just got off I-95 after a 7 hour drive from myrtle beach. Was 2-3 miles off freeway when this happed. Had it happed just a few minutes earlier, it would have happened on freeway at 70mph. There would likely have been multiple fatalities. Dealer replaced both left and right trans axels within last 2 months a week apart (car was making clunking sound). Tie rods inspected (told they were fine). Ten days ago clunking again (sounded like it was coming from engine compartment near center console. ) took back to dealer they inspected it, changed oil and could not duplicate noise.

P2859clutch apressure. Vehicle lost all power in the middle of the highway driving. No. No. No.
Tie rod end snapped/car will stop out of no where.
The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving in a parking lot and turning the steering wheel, there was a popping sound coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that the tie rod had fractured. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who stated that the failure was due to off road driving. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The insurance company adjuster stated there was no damage to the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA campaign number: 21v461000 (steering). The manufacturer was contacted but provided no additional assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 23,000.
My car was hesitant to start I called the recalls line and I let the Nissan lot know that my car had recall on the break switch which is connected to my gears, I never received a notice informing me about this issue so when I let the lot know they told me nothing was wrong, after driving it again it wouldnt start I took it to the lot and they said its my transmission and break switch battery ect. I am requesting that my car get repair for free for recall service I dont feel I should have to pay $8000 for service repair more then one Nissan Sentra has had transmission problems in the last year.

Tie road both.
I was told that the throttle malfunctioned. I was driving on the highway and the car would not accelerate, the dash said malfunctioning and the cars driving beside me had to swerve around me. I took the car back to the dealership where I purchased it and was told that parts had to be ordered and that it was a throttle malfunction. The car has not been inspected by anyone except those at the Nissan dealership where it was purchased. There were no warning signs before the malfunction. In the middle of me driving the car slowed downed and would not allow me to accelerate to match the speed of the other vehicles around me (70 mph). As I continued to push the gas the lights on the dash lit up and said malfunction.
When I reversed in a parking lot, the tire arm on my front passenger tire broke, causing my car to lean on the tire. I found oil on the ground after my car moved. It had to get towed to the Nissan dealership in Lincoln, ne. Before I got towed, I talked to the police because the damage was so significant. The dealership said that the ball joint came off because of a missing screw. I had no warning from my car or the dealership that there was a prior issue, only a loud noise and the oil on the ground.
2013 Nissan Sentra sr 66,000 miles transmission blew out, while driving on the street it sputtered, choked and lost power and started making a loud clanking noise.
The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 mph, the front passenger’s side tie rod fractured rendering the vehicle undrivable. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer who replaced the damaged tie rod and the failure was remedied. The contact later received a recall notice for the NHTSA campaign number 21v461000 (suspension) which was related to the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 12,500.
While driving and slightly moving right or left there was a clicking noise and the car kicks back. Then as the wheels are turned left or right it felt as if you lose control of turn. You have to really keep extra control of the steering wheel.
In September 2020 I purchase a 2018 Nissan Sentra sv 1. 8liter car from a small dealership. Everything is going good, I keep up on the maintenance of the car. On 02/25/2021 I took the car in for an oil change and it was informed that all the rear shocks are leaking bad and the front shocks leaking as well. For a 3 year old car should these parts be leaking like this already? the milage on my car is under 70,000 and they all need to replace already. I just wanted to know how long should shocks last for on a car. I just believed this calls for a safety risk. There is no accident of any sort only the report from the mechanic shop.
On the morning of December 6, 2020. I left my parking lot and proceeded up warwick Ave, towards franklin st and I slowed to go over a bump , when I went over the bump as I have many times , my steering wheel shifted to the right , sending me into a parked car and even though I tried to turn my wheel my car wouldn't go left. When I got out of my car to look I noticed a clean break on my inner outer tie rods which is weird because this is a 2020 car and I just got it in March 2020. I need help because I cannot afford to get this fixed.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving at various speeds on a bumpy road, the vehicle would skip to the passenger's side. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the front passenger's side lower control arm ball joint had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, while driving 20 mph on an uneven road surface, the vehicle started shuddering with an abnormal rattling sound coming from underneath the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle would make abnormal squeaking sounds while turning to the left. Additionally, the contact stated that the front service brakes, brake rotors, and the rear service brakes were replaced twice within four years; however, the vehicle would emit a metallic grading sound while depressing the brake pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000.

Hi I have 3 issues with my car, it's a 2014 Nissan centra, the first issue is the transmission it's really bad I have already too it to a Nissan dealership an said they fixed the issue but it's still doing the same thing, when you go to take off from a red light or stop sign it wants to hesitate taking off, it spitting and jerks and the transmission doesn't want to change gears, I have a automatic but it acts like a straight shift so when it hesitates I have to push the gas nor to get it to go but if you mash the gas to hard it will take off fast after it spits, it is very dangerous, I have almost slammed into the back of a few vehicles because of this problem, I have tried to pull out from a side road and a car would be coming an I know I have time to get out but when the transmission wants to act crazy an it starts hesitating to go, I have almost been hit several times. That's not all my other issue is with the air conditioner, this is the 3rd time it has went out in the last year, I went and had it serviced an they said it was the air compressor, I took it to pep boys and the guy that looked at it he told me that he has had 47 Nissan centras in the last two months to be serviced for the same reasons, well one day the air conditioning was fine but the next day I went to turn it on and it is blowing nothing but hot air so he checked it and he said the compressor went out again!! the other issue is yesterday I went to get dinner and all of a sudden the engine light came on. And my car doesn't even have 40,000 miles on it yet, I really hope writing to you about these things going wrong will open the Nissan company's eyes before someone actually get killed driving one of their cars. Thank you very much!!! for taking the time out of your day to read this. And I hope you can get to the bottom of these issues before someone really gets hurt, all these problems in 3 weeks.

Vehicle first developed a issue the following day I got it. The first issue was "engine malfunction, power reduced, service now". So I took it to the service center at mossy Nissan in el cajon, CA where they service the vehicle, but I continued to get that error on numerous occasions. Another issue, the instrument cluster and infotainment system would randomly restart while driving that has happened numerous times as well. Another issue, the panorama vehicle camera system would crash and not function any more, that occured numerous times. Another issue, while driving the vehicle I noticed the lane keep assist stopped functioning on numerous occasions. Another issue, while deriving the vehicle I felt the car would sway to certain side, I don't remember what side though. All of these issues have been addressed at the service center, but some of them still continued. So I filled a complaint with Nissan motors and they were initially gonna repurchase the vehicle back as a lemon. But they backed out of the deal. Since I feel the car is unsafe to drive due to electrical issues, the car has been sitting at the Nissan service center since April 2021. They also refuse to address the recent recall associated with the vehicle.

Car pulling to left contraction light going on when driving.
Rainy night 55 mph crash. Air bags did not deploy. Wet road, car ran off road, hit a sign post, went down embankment, flipped and rolled over into ditch. Daughter was seriously injured. . . 4 broken lower back vertebrae, 9 broken ribs, numerous pelvic fractures, lacerated spleen and kidney. Seems like these injuries could have been much less severe if the airbags would have deployed.
Electrical & bluetooth problems with the car: the system shuts itself down & reboots without prompt. The Nissan logo reappears on screen in the same manner that it does when the vehicle is first initiated via keyless start ignition. Three weeks ago, I was driving & the system shut down while I was in transit on the freeway (bw parkway) - headed to baltimore city from bowie city in maryland and rebooted itself. The fear is that the car will shut down one day, not just electronically, but also the engine, which could cause a fatal accident. The second or third day, after I brought the car home, I turned the car on to take it out for a ride, and it shut off on me completely. Each time the system shuts down, the mileage odometer dials back a couple of hundred numbers or sometimes a few numbers. There's no way to tell how many miles are truly on the vehicle. I also do not know for sure if the vehicle was truly inspected by emissions or that they changed my fuel. I also do not know the true condition of this vehicle. I saw some rust under the hood on a few of the screws. I also saw corrosion underneath the driver's side over the brake pedal. I am having problems staying in my lane on the road. When I am driving on the road, the car swerves if there are high winds (suspension on front & rear end alignment appear to be gone). On Friday March 15th in the 5 o'clock pm hour, I almost lost control of the car on the freeway. I opened the sunroof & a gusty wind came down, knocking the car out of its lane. I regained control of the car. I shut the sunroof. This happens no matter what speed I drive. The next problem is with the bluetooth. I attempted to call a relative using the hands free verbal command & it went haywire & began calling random people in my phone. After that, the car rebooted itself again. This problem is new. Research confirms that the dealer has a history.
