2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 01/17/2017

My husband was exiting the indiana toll road on the ramp to pay tolls. As he was driving his air concentrator fell. When he reached for the concentrator he ran off the ramp, hit a sign, then bounced back hitting another vehicle. The airbags did not deploy yet he hit hard enough that the seatbelts left very clear bruising, his shoulder was causing pain as well as his lower back which received compression fractures from the belt. He as taken to the area hospital by ambulance and is in treatment as of today. Our concern is the fact that the airbags did not deploy even though the force of the crash completely shattered the windshield and the front and rear ends of the car were badly damaged causing the Versa to be a total loss.
