On September 11th, my wife was involved in a car accident while driving her 2011 Nissan Versa. The collision resulted in the vehicle rolling over and ending up upside down. Shockingly, none of the airbags deployed during this serious incident. A family member recommended that I report this to Nissan, which I promptly did. However, their response, received last Friday, was rather concerning. According to Nissan, the airbags were not designed to deploy in the event of a rollover crash, and they suggested there was no further action to be taken on their end. Today, I consulted with an attorney's office regarding this matter, and they advised me to report the incident to the national highway traffic safety administration (NHTSA) as a crucial step. Consequently, I am submitting these details to NHTSA to ensure that this incident is properly documented and investigated. Safety is paramount, and I believe it is essential to bring attention to this situation so that appropriate actions can be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Pratik vakil.

Good day, I receive a letter for the airbag safety recall its say in the letter that its free service for airbag recall and there's free loaner car and towing. I went to the Nissan dealer for the airbag recall. Drop off my car and I ask the dealer if there's a car for me they said no loaner car . I leave the car there so I used uber because I need tp drop of my kids in the school. After 3 hours they called me they said car is ready to pick up so I went back there to pick up the car. But I noticed the airbag sign still flashing I asked them why the airbag still flashing they said they fix it already and I told them still flashing. I'm scared to drive the car because im using this car everyday and I have 3 kids my passenger. They said there's nothing they can do they want me to leave the car 1 day or more 1 day so that they can diagnose the. I told them if that so I need a loaner car but they said there's no loaner car. I don't have a choice I need my car this my only transportation everyday. Until now still flashing the airbag there's no second or minute im really scared to use this car. Why they cant fix the airbag . No loaner car but its said in the letter its free loaner and towing. Please help me to fix this problem. ,.
Nissan vehicle was on a main city road in motion and then slowing down to traffics change in speed when rear ended. As soon as vehicle was rear ended, brakes were pressed to prevent further collisions with vehicles up forward. My vehicle seatbelts failed to restrain driver and all passengers wearing them during a collision. Two passengers in the back were children. One child had a convertible car seat, saving them and fully restraining them to seat. The second child was in a booster seat and whiplashed completely forward and back nearly hitting head behind drivers seat. The driver locked their arms in place to prevent hitting the steering wheel. The front passenger, myself, hit the area of the glove compartment and suffered a small but deep gash on the forehead. This required sutures to close womb up. No air bags deployed when impact to vehicle was made. Airbags were replaced when recall to vehicle airbags were made in the past.
I took my car in to Nissan for recall they suposeively fixed the airbag problem . Since then I has a small fender bender. Airbag did not pop open. Last week the car was in an accident. The front was severly danmaged and still airbag did not pop out. I dont think it ever got fixed!!!! my son could have died. Who is responsible for this. I'm I complaining to the correct place???.
I took my car to a local Nissan dealership for an airbag recall on the driver side and after the recall was supposedly done because after this I'm not even positive they worked on my car for that recall. After the recall was done now the car horn in my steering wheel is not working when it was working before. The Nissan advisor said that they can't fix it and the reason is because is an old car. They want me to pay almost 700 hundred dollars for them to fix what they ruined. Now I have no car horn. This is a safety hazard for anyone on the road. A car horn works to advice other drivers of any hazard. From this happening to me I now think that they didn't do anything in regards to airbag recalls and that I just took my car just for them to scam me so I can pay for a part that was working and that they ruined. The Nissan I went too is naples Nissan in naples, florida. I also have called Nissan consumer affairs and they haven't done anything in this matter I have two claim numbers already I have called twice and there not doing anything about this matter.

Takata recall I am being forced to take my car off the road and either get a rental or purchase a new car. The dealer ship will not have the parts until late spring of 2018. That means my car will be off the road for at least 6 months. Recall #17v-449.
I have received a recall for airbag on driver's side. The new airbag will not be available until spring 2018. The Nissan dealer recommends that I do not drive the car and hire a car from enterprise. The loan car would be free, but I would have to pay full coverage insurance. The cost of that would be $28 per day. This is ridiculous! I cannot pay that amount. What do I do? do I risk injury by driving the car? what is the actual risk? nobody can tell me.
Notification of recall 11/2017.
Takata recall. I contacted antwerpen Nissan -security (baltimore, MD), but was told they will not serve vehicles affected by this recall until March of next year. Meanwhile, I am driving my kids in this car every day, which is very risky in case something happens and the airbag is deployed!.
Takata recall - I was recently notified that my 2011 Nissan Versa has a safety recall due to the takata airbags. I was told they will not be able to repair it until spring of 2018 when parts are unavailable. The only option they gave me was a loaner vehicle that I would be required to bring back to the dealership every month to renew and I would not be compensated for my time and inconvenience in having to repeatedly drive to the dealership. I do not want a loaner vehicle for many reasons, if they cannot repair it they they should have to buy it back but they have refused to do so. I am now forced to drive an unsafe vehicle, risking injury and death on a daily basis since I cannot afford to buy another car.
Nissan will not provide me with a replacement car today and I am not driving a vehicle with a serious airbag recall.
Takata recall NHTSA recall 17v-449 I would like my recall taken care of ASAP as I am concerned with safety. I was told when I had my vehicle serviced the parts are not available yet.
Takata recall I was told to park my car until parts are available. I only have this vehicle to drive. What am I supposed to do ? I do not have the money to buy or rent a car. What is Nissan going to do to help me ?.
After receiving by mail notification of the recall, I went to a Nissan dealer trying to get a rental car. First attempt an associate approached me "trying to make her sell". . . I presented my notification and immediatly she changed her approach. She told me it was too late and that I need it to come back. I went back a couple days later and earlier, at 04:00pm as she requested. Again, no one was able to helped me getting a rental or substitute vehicle. I requested for them to check with other Nissan dealers, but I just got a "no" for an answer: "I am busy, I have too much load work. . . Etc" I called myselft to another Nissan dealer and they told me they will call me back in about two weeks, when they have an available rental car for me. . . . Until now that dealer haven't call me yet. I went to a Nissan dealer, and at this point I was all concerned due to my new job commute. Finally I found an associate willing to help, but I have to paid deposit ($50. 00) for the rental car and increased my insurance payments up $130 monthly premium (updated to full coverage even after I paid off my car -Nissan Versa 2011-) any dealer associate showed corncen for the safety recall nor for any possible fatal accident.
