Issue: the rear windshield suddenly imploded while the defroster was turned on while on the road, causing significant fear and glass debris. We were driving when it happened, sending glass all on the road. Photos are available. It's currently at the dealership, awaiting repair. The car has only been inspected by the dealer as far as I am aware. There was no warning messages or lights prior to shattering, only a strong electrical burning smell moments beforehand.

My 2008 Versa hatchback has two very long cracks in the original factory windshield. Both cracks originate at the edge of the windshield, with no rock scar or damage of any sort. Appears to be stress crack or massive defect in glass workmanship. Both cracks appeared while the vehicle was parked for hours. According to dealer, this is not covered by warranty. Big shock there.
