The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Versa. The contact stated the sun roof drain ducts should drain the water from the vehicle, leaks inside the passenger compartment. The failure causes the side curtain air bags to become wet. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice for repair and they blew air into the air ducts to clean them out. The dealer stated that this process would have to be performed periodically in order to keep the air ducts from clogging. The manufacturer stated that the contact would have to pay for the repair because it was not covered under warranty. The failure mileage was 19,000 and current mileage was 25,000.
