Transmission failure due to leak from radiator cooling system fluid intermixing with transmission fluid. Check engine light came on while driving, went to repair shop the code p0717 came up. Upon inspection by the repair shop it was determined that the transmission, radiator, and all hoses, etc. That interconnected the transmission and radiator had to be replaced. I live in California and the problem occured in arizona.

3 Radiator Hose problem of the 2004 Nissan Xterra

Failure Date: 01/13/2015

I have had to replace my starter 3 times in 4 years. I have all of the receipts to show also. I have also had to replace my radiator because of a crack near the cap. I had a hose that goes through my dash with the hot water explode on me and burn my hand pretty bad. My radiator seems to evaporate cooling fluid on a regular basis. I have had a pressure test it is holding pressure. And now my warning bell is no longer working. My battery has gone dead 5 times because no warning sound to tell me I left my lights on.

4 Radiator Hose problem of the 2000 Nissan Xterra

Failure Date: 03/11/2004

3 time problem with the high pressure line in my 2000 Nissan Xterra. Got a copy of the Nissan 5 year repair history for the vehicle, and found out that at 22,3?? the line had to be replaced. It has now failed a third time and because it is out of warranty Nissan said they will not fix it for me. Clearly this is a faulty part to begin with and I should not have to be charged for its third failure.
