I have tried to resolve the numbers of recalls that are still pending on my car. The three pending recalls are 843, c45, and e23. I have been to the dealer and I was served and told that they were going to order the parts. The dealer never call to tell me about the status of the parts. I called to check and the parts never arrived. The dealer have not take any action to repair my car.

2 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem of the 1999 Plymouth Breeze

Failure Date: 08/31/2002

While parked, with the key out of the ignition, slightly bumped the shifter and knocked it out of the 'park' position. Vehicle rolled backward and torn the front passenger door against wall. Ref ie03013.

3 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem of the 2000 Plymouth Breeze

Failure Date: 06/01/2001

While driving on highway at 40, vehicle came to a complete stop and consumer was almost rear ended. Towed to dealer,and they said it was the transmission. Second and forth gears got so hot that they melted together, causing transmission to freeze up.

Failure Date: 09/14/1999

Vehicle was parked in the garage with no keys in the ignition. Accidentally, hit against the shift lever, causing vehicle to roll.

Vehicle brought in for recall repair inspection of the ignition/park shift interlock system, however dealership broke part intentionally.

Failure Date: 06/17/1998

*inter locking system. Shift button doesn't always lock in gear. Found out that button was installed upside down and backwards. They turned it around and adjusted the linkage. *both front window runs were installed wrong. Water poured through them. Window runners had to be ordered and installed three times. *window cranks on both front doors were installed wrong. Replaced them. *parking brake button popped out. The lever assembly was replaced. Still having problems. *drivers door won't stay adjusted. Had door adjusted along with sriker. Door still won't stay adjusted. *both front speakers cut out. They installed new ones'. *passenger front door panel for mirror was broken. They replaced. *steering column makes grinding noise. They replaced the steering column. Still having same problem. *trasmission caught in lower gear while driving. Problem hasn't been found. *right rear door plug was missing. Ordered and replaced. *right front door trim was broke. They replaced trim. *engin started boiling with no lights or temp. Gauage going on at any time. They replaced the thermittant. *left wiper spary didn't work. They replaced wiper spray. *drivers front wheel makes noise. They installed insolation tape as needed. Still had problems. Cover ended up being replaced at later time. Still hear noise coming from front on both sides of car. *radio/cass. Didn't work at all times. They ordered and installed new player.

Failure Date: 09/28/1997

The ignition/park shift interlock system (recall component #98v183000) failed prior to notice causing vehicle collision and damage. (attorney for consumer).

Consumer stated that the remedy did not correct the problem. Recall number 98v183000. The dealer said that the faulty component functioned as designed. However, the recall notice said that when the transmission came out of park with the key removed, which it does, or if the key came out of the ignition switch without being turned to the off position, which it does, the ignition interlock cable was defective and needed to be replaced.

Consumer complained about a gear shift problem. This problem prevented the driver from removing the key from the ignition. A recall was issued on this make/model/year, however this vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN.

10 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem of the 1998 Plymouth Breeze

Consumer's four year old son accidentally hit the shift gear into neutral causing vehicle to roll back and hit another car. No keys were in the ignition when this occurred. The consumer stated there was a recall on the issue, however the consumer has since sold the vehicle.

Consumer has been unable to have two recall components repaired due to dealer scheduling problems, one is for the right rear brake tube and the other is for the automatic transmission interlock system. Nlm (98v-183, 99v-244).

Complaint of not being notified of the recall alert for the power train:transmission:automatic:interlock system. The NHTSA campaign number:98v183000. I was made aware of the recall when I was on the inernet. Looking for the blue book value for resale. Please tell me what I should do now. I have noticesd the sliggishness of the car. Thank you.
