Warning lights keep going on while driving including the "abs warning light", "hill assist" and "vehicle dynamics control" . This always disengages the cruise control and often happens after driving for awhile. This didn't start happening until I had the dealer replace the clock spring due to non working horn and cruise control and trouble with steering roll connector. They also replaced rear coil springs and rear left wheel bearing and backing plate.

2014 Subaru Forester. Consumer writes in regards to battery being drained abs fault light being illuminated. The consumer stated multiple failures began after having safety recall wue-90 performed on the vehicle. The vehicle's battery repeatedly would drain due to the tail light being illuminated with no apparent cause. The hill control warning light, abs warning light, and the anti skid warning lights all illuminated. Occasionally, the vehicle would not accelerate when depressing the brake pedal.
Takara recall wue-90 safety issue with grand forks nd Subaru has unreasonable two week wait time to replace brake lamp switch failure and rendering consumer at unreasonable safety risk or unusable car. Car locks in park or abs lights and hill start electrical malfunctions during driving unpredictably. Car was serviced for exact same safety issue previously (7/22/2016 : service dept stated "found brake lamp switch faulty and not working") and grand forks nd Subaru's failed to repair defect succussfully. Grand forks nd Subaru disregards driver safety again by failing to service same defect in a timely manner, in regards to customer safety complaints and in accordance with consumer protection safety regulations and laws.

Abs lights come on ,eyesight warning lights come on , cannot shift out of park. . Car was stationary. These warning lights have been coming on frequently when in motion, but now it wont shift out of park.
The stop light switch failed which rendered the car inoperable due to not being able to move from park. The stability, hill decent and abs warning lights came on.
When the check engine light (cel) is activated by an emission control failure Subaru has programmed a shutdown of the antilock brake system (as well as shutdown of cruise control). This abs shutdown could occur for a simple loose gas cap which is common cause of cel failure. The section 3-16 on cel warning light/malfunction indicator does not inform the owner that a cel event will be accompanied by the disabling of the abs. The driver finds this out only because the cel is accompanied by blinking cruise light and steadily illuminated abs light. Per owner manual section 7-23 for 2011 Forester when the abs is disabled the car/driver/passengers are a risk of loss of steering control and directional stability. Three cel events occurred from June 2013 to December 2014 for same problem because thermostat was not to be replaced per service bulletin 09-56-13/10/21/13 until ecm re-programming occurred. Therefore I was forced to drive without antilock brake system 3 times 6/13; 8/14 and 12/14 until repairs could be scheduled. I am requesting that Subaru not be allowed to disable the abs for cel/emission control system problems. This is because I have had multiple unpredictable cel events some during weather conditions for which abs function was critical.
