My 2007 Camry acceleration has not failed to stop accelerating, but it has been slow to engage. This has made crossing intersections or blending with moving traffic difficult. I have taken the car to the dealer, and they "rebooted" the accelerator mechanism. I have also had an issue with the brakes making terrible noise when backing up. I was told that was just because the car had been setting.
