1 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 08/23/2018

Tl the contact owns a 2007 Toyota Camry. While driving at an unknown speed, the speedometer gauge failed to provide the correct reading and the abs control module and emergency warning indicators illuminated. Also the cooling component of the air conditioner failed to function. Furthermore, while at a stop sign, the vehicle began to power down. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the abs control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 180,000.

2 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 08/18/2010

2007 Toyota Camry. Initially when the car was turned on the brake light, and abs light would come on along with the tachometer, speedometer would begin racing while in park. At this time the engine cooling system would go down to "c" this happened half a dozen times and it was taken to Toyota dealers. I spent 618. 00 for repairs and I was told the car was fixed. Toyota dealer also stated I was able to drive the car and there would be no problems. After spending money for repairs within 24 hours the problem began again. Now this time not only when you were in park would the lights come on the began coming on while I was driving. So I could not tell what speeds I was doing and unable to tell if I had brakes when the light came on. So it was taken back to the same dealership and this time they want to replace skid control ecu/actuator per tech line and want me to spend over 2000. 00 to fix the problem even though I have a bill of sale that states problem was fixed just days before.

3 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 02/12/2010

I have a 2007 Toyota solara with a v-6 engine. At 79000 miles the water pump failed catastrophically and took out the timing belt, which caused the car to quit in the middle of traffic.

4 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 06/16/2009

While driving the 2007 v-6 Camry on the highway the vvti oil pressure tube developed a rapid leak. There were no warning lights or oil pressure failure indicators activated by the leak. This rapid oil leak may cause the engine to seize and lead to an accident. The Toyota dealership was contacted and they take no responsibility for the engine design failure, nor do they intend to warn the other Camry owners.

5 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 05/17/2009

Car's ac blower motor stopped working atr ~ 18 k miles. The heating and cooling system would sometimes not work when it was turned on. This was especially a problem when car was parked in the sun. The blower would also make a thrumming sound and it took 4 times for the dealer to even admit this was happening and it still is not right.

6 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 08/22/2007

For the past yr the car shakes between 45-35mph when slowing to brake, rotor replaced and brakes replaced. Also a/c system smells of urine 80% of time, lastly engine when braking and depressing gas to accel. Jumps and is unsafe.

7 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 04/27/2007

Camry 2007 se v6. Acceleration problems, hesitates at take off, transmission slips like its searching for a gear, smell from a/c. Engine ticks when I take off and don't let it warm up even though its warm outside. Had problems with tires, had them replaced. Loud road noise car not very sound proof. Feels like steering wheel "sticks"for just a second long enough to scare me like someone is holding it.

8 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 11/03/2006

After 4985 miles, the "check engine" light activated. There was a smell of burning electrical wires. Dealer/service originally diagnosed the problem as a failure of the "variable valve timing actuator," but later re-diagnosed the problem as a failure of the wiring harness. The car was returned 11/30/06. After 20 minutes of driving, the "check engine" light reactivated. I returned the car immediately. On 12/01/06, the dealer/service diagnosed the problem and said a "vacuum tube" disconnected. I picked up car on 12/01/06. After a couple hours of driving, the "p" for park light illuminated while I was in drive. (the "p" and "d" indicators were both illuminated as I was driving. Also, the door locks on all doors engaged and disengaged uncontrollably and continuously. I was not able to manually lock or unlock my car doors using the "lock/unlock" switch on the drive-side door since it was deactivated as a result of the malfunction. I took the car back to the dealer/service on 12/02/06 for this problem. Dealer/service diagnoses the problem as a electrical short due to a coolant leak. I was promised that the car would be returned 12/4/06 afternoon.
