The contact owns a 2000 Toyota Camry. There was a screeching noise when the brakes were applied. The local mechanic replaced the rear brake pads and the rear drums. The failure mileage was 60,000. Update 4/9.

While driving 55 mph there was vibration in front end. Vehicle slowed down on its own. Smoke was coming from front passenger's wheel. Dealer replaced front rotors and turned drums.
When driving at any speed and applying the brakes there is a loud noise coming from the rear brakes. Consumer replaced rear brake drums.

With 11,000 miles on vehicle there was a rubbing noise coming from vehicle when brake system was activated. Dealership serviced vehicle under a service bulletin. Then, at approximately 50,000 miles on August 23, 2001 front brake pads and rotors had to be replaced by dealership due to a rubbing noise during brake application. Also at 54,000 miles on January 22, 2002 rear brake drums failed,and had to be replaced. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
