Though they have been replaced entirely at least once, the brakes on my 2003 Camry still squeak upon a gradual brake during the day. Other than the squeak, I must admit that they brakes do work well. This may not be a safety problem unless I get so used to the squeak that I don't catch the 'telltale' that many pad manufacturers put in their pads to give an audio clue to change their brake pads.
