Greeting, on June 7,2025 my Toyota Corolla was repaired at interstate Toyota for the replacement on the airbag. I have attached documents that share the job was completed successfully. Please review and forward and email that it is verified in your system to my email address. Pattersonbe1@gmail. Com warmly, beverly patterson.
I was driving as usual and suddenly the air bags exploded inside the dash causing damage to the passenger window and the front crystal. Seconds after the drivers airbag also opened and consequently the alarms. I did not impact anything and the car won’t start again.
I received a recall notice, scheduled an appointment and then went to bev smith Toyota in fort pierce, FL. My appointment was for 9:30 am. I decided that as long as I was there, I would get my oil changed (normally I do not use dealer oil changes because they are expensive, but since I was there anyway. . . ). At 11:10, I was presented the bill for the oil change and told that they refused to service the airbag. There was some garbage on the floor of the passenger side that the service manager claimed rendered my vehicle unsafe to work on. I pointed out that no one asked me to clean out the front seat when I scheduled the appointment, that the items were there at 9:30 when received the car, and that the car apparently was safe enough for them to perform an overpriced oil change. I offered to remove the items (it later took me all of 3 minutes to clear the area). The service manager refused and refused to complete the recall work. He still demanded payment for the oil change and was unwilling to compensate me for my wasted time.
The airbag light came on suddenly, even though I had the airbag recall work done for my vehicle. I took it to a Toyota dealership who wanted to charge me for the repair which I was willing to and perhaps work with Toyota directly to get reimbursed for but the parts weren't available.
The contact owns a 2003 Toyota Corolla. The contact had received a recall letter and had taken the vehicle to local dealer for recall repair on the airbag. The contact stated that she had to contact the dealer to confirm if vehicle was ready for pick up. The contact was told by the dealer that the work had been completed and the car was ready. The contact stated that she had been using the vehicle normally at normal driving speeds around 30 mph. The contact said that she was not aware of any warning lights being illuminated. The contact said she began receiving recall letters again from manufacturer. The contact called the manufacturer to inform them that the dealer had completed the recall. The contact called the manufacturer recall appointment line where she was given the hot line number. The contact called the hot line and confirmed that there was one open recall, the same recall she had been told by the dealer had been repaired. The contact has not been contacted by the local dealer to have the vehicle diagnosed. The vehicle has not been repaired. The contact had been driving without the recall being repaired. The manufacturer has been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 53,000.
I received a recall letter from Toyota for my airbags. Recall id nhat-fzj. I contact them to schedule a repair and they tell me since there's another recall for my vehicle they can't help me further. Seems crappy that something they should also fix somehow hinders Toyota's ability to fix the airbag.

Takata recall I have submitted papers of numerous accidents and also engine and transmission failures my vehicle has given me. When I first obtained it, it had no struts nor do my air bags deploy when I get into vehicular accidents. I am unable to go to a dealership and get my vehicle checked but because it's non operating at the moment. I do however have open availability for a car inspection at my home if you guys were to send someone to come take a look at it.
I crashed my car and the airbag burst and it burned my leg and it did not inflate. I am reporting this recently because I just received a certificated letter about urgent safety recalls. The car was in motion.
"takata recall" I am the owner of the Toyota Corolla vehicle with the VIN details supplied above. I recently stumble to NHTSA search tool where I came across how to check with my VIN to know if my vehicle is among the recalled vehicles, unfortunately, my VIN details supplied confirmed to me that my vehicle is one of the recalled vehicle with status showing "recall incomplete". I live here in nigeria and I use the car here in nigeria, I would like to know where I could replace by passanger airbag here in nigeria. I look forward to your prompt advice on this. Thank you.
Took vehicle to dealer in miami for srs recall, light came on about 6 month earlier, advisor told me they replace srs control unit, but light still on and airbag are not operational, I was told probably a spiral cable needs to be replace at my expense and that is not covered. I see a lot of this same problem happening on Corollas spiral cable failure. Toyota is not addressing this issue which makes srs system inoperative then what is the point of all the srs recall. This issues needs to be address.
We are a salvage yard, this vehicle was crushed may 30,2017.

"takata recall" I had a recall to get airbag fixed, took to dealer, and was supposedly fixed. After a few weeks the light came back on; took back to dealer, they wanted a lot of money to check it out and fix it again. I don't have, I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income. The light has been on for about 2 years.

Takata recall--I have tried repeatedly to schedule an appointment with a Toyota dealership to have my airbag replaced. I can never get an answer. I have replied several times to the Toyota safety recall resolution team at 1-888-312-5994. They also have not been able to get an answer and they've advised me to call the dealerships directly. The last attempts were made this morning and the resolution team suggested I just drive to the dealership to make my appointment since they will not answer the phone. Why is this so inconvenient? why can't Toyota dealerships answer phones to make appointments and make these changes? how can I get this repair done in a timely and convenient fashion?.
Takata recall I've been hit with this car several times in vehicle accidents and no air bags pop out at alll.
Takata recall all dealers I contacted have a "at least one month, likely two month" waiting list for this recall repair. Considering the notice states "until the remedy is performed, we recommend that you do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat," the time frame seems excessive. They all noted it was due to a delay in receiving the parts.

Takata recall I'm not confident that Toyota is adequately solving the airbag issue as I've received multiple recalls for the same or similar issues. During the initial recall I discussed with Toyota that they should replace the airbags if there is any concern over quality. They did not do that and stated that after inspection I was not affected. Since then I've received more recalls for the same issue. I'm concerned about my safety and the resale value of my car, both of which Toyota has put at serious risk. I do not believe they are taking this issue seriously nor attempting to solve it in a timely and proper manner.
