I keep having issues where radar cruise and lane assist shut off randomly with the message that radar cruise is unavailable . This has happened since new and has been looked at by Toyota 4 times with no repair.

While driving with the cruise control on the rpms begin to jump to 5000 all on it's own but the car isn't speeding up when it happens. I know it's wearing the engine down every time it happens. It happens when I'm driving on flat freeways as well as when driving down hills. The dealership dismissed what I was telling them, but I know there's something not functioning properly and would like it further looked into.

2016 Toyota Corolla, 80,000 miles. I'm driving up a hill towards the freeway and my car slows and comes to a stop. I try to turn the car on and it won't turn on. Get it towed to a mechanic and they say the transmission failed and it'll be $8,000 to repair. This transmission failure came out of the blue and my car isn't even covered for it because my warranty expired at 75,000 miles. Contacted Toyota USA and they said my car isn't covered under the cvt recall of certain 2014-2017 Corollas so I'm left with this mysterious transmission defect which put me in a dangerous situation as I was trying to head onto the freeway!.

My wife was pulling around our cul-du-sac to go to the store, when her 2016 Toyota Corolla sport accelerated out-of-control. She was able to get it back to our driveway and into the garage by putting heavy pressure on the brake. The engine was continuing to rev at a very high speed. Have call into Toyota dealer, but do want to drive it for safety reasons. I jus started it in park, and it immediately revved to over 4000 rpm.

I was slowly pulling up the driveway to park behind another vehicle when the Corolla suddenly surged forward. It accelerated quickly and I couldn't stop it. It crashed into the back of the other vehiclewaaq. Both vehicles sustained damage but the Corolla's is significant.

When accelerating the engine revolutions rise in excess and there is no logical increase in the speed. The transmission software was updated and I think it's worse.

Malfunction of cruse control. Set at 60 mph on level ground tach will go from 1600 rpm to 4000 rpm. No increase in speed detected. Does this often. Disableing cruse control will bring engine speed back to normal.

Sudden lost in speed weather it's to slow down or after coming to a stop happens infrequently usually having me to pull over turning of car and turning back on to correct the issue. Major concerns are when on the highway with traffic going anyware from 45 to 75 miles per hour having the car loose speed to less than 15mph is a real danger.

The dash inside the car is making a rattle noise and suddenly the car looses power.

While coming out of a revered position, I was driving forward and my brakes vibrated. This caused my car to stall while in the driving position.

I was driving on a city street at 15 mph and when my foot pressed the brake (for 2 seconds), the engine revved and the vehicle accelerated for a couple of seconds before braking fully.

Car will rev up to 4000 rpm and get stuck while in motion. This generally happens with a cold engine and is getting progressively worse.

Jsd recall. Car involuntarily accelorates. Bouncing of rmp, revving and sticking at high rev. Team Toyota deemed the transmission unserviceable and refused to do the jsd recall. While highway driving, intersection accelloration car revs and slows down. Advised the cvt trans needs to be replaced at 5500. 00. Car is at 55,000 miles and is apparently over the 5 year factory warrantee by 6 days at time it was brought in for service. Issue only started happening in October 2018, 1 month before the factory warrantee ran out. I was out of town for 10 days and brought the car in for service upon my return and was advised the cvt trans needed replacing before they would do a recall. Picked car up and it was 500 times worse than when I dropped it off 4 days earlier. I have owned more than 2 Toyotas and never had an issue. I am more than unhappy with this situation and fee the 5 year/60,000 mile factory warrantee should be honored.

When the contact started the vehicle in the driveway and depressed the accelerator pedal, the vehicle surged with a high rate of speed and crashed into the garage. The air bags did not deploy. 2015 Toyota Corolla accelerated on it;s own when slowing down on brake to turn into my driveway. I was scared from it and had no control and took my foot off the brake and pumped it and stopped the car before it crashed into the brick wall. I never had this issue before and hopefully, never again. My car is at 54k in miles and I was going at 10 mph.

Computer is sending false codes. Car won't accelerate from a stop then eventually starts moving very slowly. Unhooking the battery then hooking it back up does a hard reset on the computer which makes the car work properly for a day or so then it does it again. Was told by mechanic the computer doesn't know what gear the car is in.

I was notified of the air bag recall a year ago but the car dealerships in my area does not have the parts and I need to use my vehicle daily. So I am not sure what to do from here for that but I believe that the appropriate time to remedy this recall has past already and the fact that we have our children riding with us and we are unaware that their life is in danger or because we can not get it fixed is not acceptable. Then on top of that I am having issues like when my 2011 Corolla is sitting idle it will rev up the engine without touching the gas pedal and does this randomly and without warning and also while I am driving around 55 mph on the interstate or highway sometimes it will dramatically drop and lose about 10- 15 mph speed for no reason and this happens randomly as well. And this fluctuation happens during cruise control the most so I no longer even use that function. Also both headlights have moisture in them and are so fogged up now that visibility is almost impossible at night now. Also the weather striping around all my windows have dry rotted and broke off and there is practically nothing left of stripping anymore. Then the center dash above the radio just broke and gave out under my phone holder while driving, it broke into about 15 different pieces. I know that my phone or the holder is even close to heavy enough to cause the dash panel to cave in like that. I called to get a price on the dash and it was like $250+ and who can afford that for a piece of plastic. Lastly my driver and passenger seat will get stuck if you try adjusting them and sometimes it will let you move the seat but to do so you have to hop up and down for several minutes and throughout the adjustment to get the seat to move in any direction.

Bought the car last April, it has given me no problems, until now. The car start to loose acceleration when driving almost got into two car accident on the road, called Toyota but they want to charge me to inspect the car, the car seems to be stuck on gears like if it was on neatrual.

At random times the car begins to accelerate on its own with no interference to the pedal. It will keep accelerating until I hit the pedal and pull up on the pedal with my foot. In neutral the engine will rev up to over 6,000 rpm and continue going up. This happens while driving a normal speed and is random.
