The contact stated that after several seconds, the vehicle accelerated normally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but provided no assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 187,000.

I have a 2002 Toyota camry with 82,000 miles. The transmission went out in October 2005. On August 2005, the cadallic converter went out also. I feel this car is a lemon and the manufacturing of the car is extremely poor.
