The dealer was contacted and stated that there were no recalls or related warranties; however, there was a piece that broke off the linkage where the gear box was located. While vehicle was sitting in consumer's driveway consumer's child knocked the gear shift into drive and vehicle rolled backwards, slamming into a wall across the street. The child was not hurt, but the vehicle and the wall were damaged. Vehicle's manual stated that vehicle could not be shifted into gear without a key being in the ignition.
