Gasoline Engine Problems of Toyota Tacoma

I purchased my Tacoma in 2004 with 6000 miles on it. Every since I bought it, it has been extremely high on gas, only getting between 240-260 miles on a tank. I have taken it to the Toyota dealer and they could not find out what was wrong with it. It feels as if it has a skip in it. I now have 20,789 miles on it and when I took it to the dealer they recommended a fuel injection flush so I had that done but it still feels as though it still has a skip. This is only a 4 cylinder motor shouldn't I be getting better gas mileage?.

Engine knocking while driving. Vehicle been to the dealer on two occasions and before the correction was made. Feel free to provide any further information.

Engine surges with the air conditioner compressor causing the rpm of the engine to rise high. Yh.

There is a pinge in the engine. Dealer has replaced the spark plugs and the oxygen sensor, and the problem still exists. The manufacturer has been notified.

Engine vibration experienced while driving.

When vehicle is stopped, in drive, and the air conditioner is on, the idle speed increases to above normal when the air conditioner compressor comes on. The higher idle speed causes the vehicle to lunge forward in an unsafe manner.

Dashboard was rattling and engine had blownout at 25 thousand miles. Dealer had replaced parts . Problem returned. Dealer will not replace it without charge. Please provide further information.

Truck engine shakes and gives a very poor performance.

Engine replaced.
