1 Car Stall problem of the 2006 Toyota Tundra

Failure Date: 03/10/2021

Autonation Toyota would not install rear tow hitch due to severity of frame rust. Cautioning that any sort of impact would total the vehicle. After reading several reviews stating very similar rust problems I have started an online petition against Toyota. Even if the frame is replaced the rust has affected many components of the vehicle. Being a safety issue. Severe bodily harm or death can occur.

2 Car Stall problem of the 2020 Toyota Tundra

Failure Date: 07/29/2020

I bought a new 2020 Toyota Tundra 4x4 crewmax and it is not perform to what a v-8 powertrain of 5. 7 lt, and 381 horse power should be. The accelerator on this 2020 Tundra is not functioning properly. It will not accelerate when I step on the gas pedal, which almost stall before it moves. In addiction, I owned a 2007 Tundra 4x4 crewmax and there was not a single acceleration problem. The VIN# for my new 2020 Tundra crewmax 5tfdy5f1xlx912265. I believe Toyota has installed the accelerator incorrectly or their fuel pump is not working properly on this new 2020 Tundra models.

3 Car Stall problem of the 2007 Toyota Tundra

Failure Date: 09/20/2018

We received a recall for this vehicle from Toyota to say the secondary air injection system valve stuck open, we contacted them, the vehicle was under the mileage, but, under the year of manufacture, this was relayed to us on two different occasions, verbally, Toyota seems reluctant to put it in writing. The problem they said is caused by a faulty sensor installed when the vehicle was assembled. When the sensor triggers, the vehicle looses power immediately, this can be very dangerous when overtaking for example. On both occasions the verbal message we receive says Toyota will not repair the problem, even though they sent a recall letter, and the problem is caused by a faulty sensor installed when the vehicle was manufactured. If you require more information please let us know thank you.

5 Car Stall problem of the 2005 Toyota Tundra

Failure Date: 06/01/2015

Secondary injection pump trigger a limp mode which is extremely dangerous on the highway. Toyota has extended the warranty on all vehicle except the 2005, 2006, 2007 which have the exact same air pumps installed. This repair is costing Toyota owners in excess of $3,000. 00 with vehicles having having less the 100k miles. This is obviously an emission issue that Toyota should address, the u. S. Has made vw responsible for there shortcomings I think Toyota should be held accountable.

8 Car Stall problem of the 2007 Toyota Tundra

Failure Date: 07/04/2013

Issues with Toyota's secondary air intake pump seems to be a major issue. Since 2007, now Toyota has control over the necessary parts and will release as they seem fit. I have waited over two weeks to get these parts and installed. And the dealership say's they have no idea how long it will be could be weeks. They know that the pump has issues and will not fix the problem till it goes bad. And if your driving down the interstate and you lose power that could be a safety issue. My truck broke down in my driveway as I was pulling out to go on a 3000 plus mile road trip. Wish a recall can be ordered to fix the issue before hand.

9 Car Stall problem of the 2012 Toyota Tundra

Failure Date: 01/10/2013

My issue is related to the issue I am facing with Toyota company. I purchased my truck within 2012 and since I have purchased the truck I took this truck to the dealership for several issues. Within few months of purchase the air injection pump stop working, truck was at the dealership for over a month. Toyota installed trd updated for my "inconvenience" I took my truck back to have looked at over 10times. On Friday I start having the same issues, so I dropped of my truck at the szott dealership on Saturday evening March 1st. Monday morning service manager called and informed that air injection pump is bad and it may take over 4 weeks to have the part replaced, about 4 weeks ago truck stop running so I took it to the dealership close by in canton, Toyota of canton replace the fuel pump, truck was at the dealership for a week. I try reaching out to Toyota and see if they could help me resolve the issue, but Toyota don't care. See below email I sent to Toyota on 12-13. I was assign "case manager" was no help at all. All I am asking Toyota to replace/resolve my truck issues. I am tired of taking my truck for repairs. I will file the complaint to the attorney general's office as well. Issues with cabin is being loud air comes from the windshield and form the left and right doors/windows. Truck was at the dealership last year for over 3 weeks due to the air intake pump issue. I am still facing the same issues while driving truck lose power and while I am pulling over some time I get the power back some time I have to wait to make sure I can drive over 25miles per hour. All the brakes have been replaced due to vibration, navigation system goes in and out while driving, dealership was informed. Whole dash lights electric in the dash flicker while driving. Last month battery died and electric issues are still there.

10 Car Stall problem of the 2010 Toyota Tundra

Failure Date: 05/21/2010

At approximately 11,000 miles my truck engine started running rough and would shut off on me while I was driving. The first incident occurred on April 16, 2010. It typically happens after my truck is warmed up - about an hour of driving. I have been stalled at traffic lights, on I-275, on sr 60 and almost stalled on some railroad tracks. I have taken my truck to various Toyota dealers for repairs (depending on where I broke down). The service people have changed out the catalytic converters, fuel pump, oxygen sensors, cam-shaft sensors and computer hardware. My truck has been at the winter haven, FL Toyota dealership for service since may 21, 2010 for repair.
