My tired was punctured and the tire pressure indicator light did not come on at all. The seatbelts never retract after taking them off they just hang there. Sometimes when I lock the doors the alarm does not sound off indicating the alarm is set, also my horn works when it wants to but never when it should, for instance there was a car coming up the street the wrong way and my car failed to create sound from the horn for me to alert the other driver. My car could be in motion or stationary none of the above works, my brakes have went out a few times while I was in motion in the middle of the highway as well. These issues have been happening way before the date I listed below but I just thought these were normal issues I need to get fixed on my own but who knew it was a recall issue all along.

Extended warranty expired 6 months before the event. However, I read it as a recall (it was actually warranty) so I took it in before the warranty expired, there wasn’t a problem with it then so they could not fix it since again it was warranty and not recall. The problem being my horn stopped working. Took it to Volkswagen- they said it was clock spring. Clock spring could also short out my airbags along with other safety issues. Not only am I at extreme risk so are others around me. Obviously it was a problem with others if they extended the warranty. A vw specialist dealing with recall and warranty told me the extension of warranty is different because a recall would mean there’s a safety issue. How is a horn and air bag not a safety issue?!?! unsure of the exact date I noticed however, it was after extension of warranty.
Horn doesn't work on the steering wheel. Air bag light frequently fails to initially illuminate when first starting the car. Cruise control does not work. One would believe there is a clock spring issue. How my specific Jetta was not included in the original recall of clock springs is concerning.
Horn will not function below freezing ambient temperature; likely moisture inside has frozen the mechanism; works fine once ambient temperature has risen above f.

I recently bought this 2012 Jetta and the horn does not work. It does not sound when you lock the doors or hit the panic button on the key pad. There was a recall on some models for the horn, but mine doesn't seem to be included in on that recall.

My key constantly gets stuck in the ignition. My car turns on but not off which leaves me to unhook the battery and take out fuse so no one steals my car overnight. A lot of people I know with Jettas are having this same issues. I think it is a malfunction with the ignition switch. I also have a lot of electrical issues. My horn does not work, windshield wiper fluid doesnt work, my passenger window as well! there needs to be a recall ASAP !.

About a month ago, I wad at an intersection with my Jetta when another vehicle prompted me to slam on my horn. When I attempted to use my horn, no sound eminated from the vehicle. Upon arriving home, I began testing the horn to no avail. Due o this electrical failure, I've been forced to drive without a horn in the state of florida which is illegal and have been put at extreme risk with the inability to alert other drivers with my vehicle.
The horn keep malfunctioning it works sometimes the car don't have lose power when I go up hills and smoke is coming from tail pipe.
Faulty horn in both stationaty and moving positions. Will work and then suddenly stop working. Replaced horn right after purchase, but continued to have problems later.

Driver airbag light illuminated on dashboard while car was in motion on highway in pouring rain weather. Car horn is also currently not working/able to be used in event of emergency or warning. Airbag light would come on for about 6 seconds and then go off repeatedly then finally stayed on for good. Appears to be a clock spring issue from research that may not have been initially covered and completed in 2015 manufacturer recall. VIN is also not included in current takata airbag recall either. . . . No previous issues to note prior to symptoms beginning. . .

My horn and front right parking light both stopped working at the same time. I noticed there is a recall for the same make/model/year as my car, but my VIN is not included. I will need to have this repaired and pay for it, however, I do hope vw and NHTSA sees this is a problem and expand the recall to include more models.
While driving the vehicle at approximately 65 mph the driver seat started to move forward on its own towards the steering wheel in which I was unable to control the driver seat it would not reversenearly causing a serious accident. I also noticed that the vehicle horn no longer works due to some sort ofelectrical issue. The issue took place while I was driving on a major highway.
