This car has several recurring problems that I have never seen on any car before. 1) electronic throttle has been replaced 2 times as well as oxygen sensors. 2) suspension parts replaced 3 times, ball joints, struts, strut mounts, frame bushings. The car still squeaks.

2 O2 Sensor problem of the 2000 Volvo S80

Failure Date: 07/25/2005

My 2000 S80 Volvo has a defect with the emission control module it was losing power and idling very bad. Because of this problem the cat converter and O2 sensors also miss functioned which cost over $4000 to repair after I got the car back 2 days later the emission message appeared again and the car is not running well.

3 O2 Sensor problem of the 2001 Volvo S80

Failure Date: 06/10/2005

Sputtering and stalling of 2001 Volvo S80 t-6 at low speeds. In June, Volvo authorized dealer replaced two oxygen sensors (based on their best guess). Car operated satisfactorily for 60 days; now experiencing sputtering and stalling again.
