1 Front Air Bag problem of the 2006 BMW 325

Failure Date: 02/10/2012

Air bag sign keeps going on/off. There was a recall 08v-384 but BMW is saying my vehicle was out of the build window. I have the same issue as NHTSA recall campaign number: 08v384000 (NHTSA action number: ea08001).

2 Front Air Bag problem of the 2006 BMW 325

Failure Date: 09/24/2010

Starting the ignition the "air bag" light is illuminated when a passenger sits in the front seat. There is a know recall for this issue " 08v384000 " however my VIN is not included.

3 Front Air Bag problem of the 2004 BMW 325

Failure Date: 06/19/2008

The contact owns a 2004 BMW 325i. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact was involved in a crash. The air bag deployment severely injured the consumer and caused a neck sprain and a mild concussion. A police report was filed. The contact did not provide any additional information regarding the crash. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The current and failure mileages were 50,000. Updated.

4 Front Air Bag problem of the 2002 BMW 325

Failure Date: 09/02/2005

While driving on a street the consumer noticed a small pothole and the consumer could not remember if she struck the pothole or not. Instantly, the front passenger's air bag as well as the side/curtain passenger's airbag partially deployed. The consumer was on her way to the dealer when this occurred to trade in on a new vehicle and decided to journey to the dealership with the airbags partially deployed. The consumer inspected the vehicle, no visible damage or impact was noticed. The dealer has made no corrections. The dealer was awaiting an inspection from a BMW representative. This was the first and only incident with the airbags deploying.

5 Front Air Bag problem of the 2001 BMW 325

Failure Date: 01/02/2005

After hitting a pot hole front air bags inadvertently deployed. Consumer pulled over, and had the vehicle towed. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

6 Front Air Bag problem of the 2002 BMW 325

Failure Date: 06/02/2004

While driving 50 mph driver ran over pieces of debris on the highway and both frontal air bags went off inadvertently. Driver sustained head and back injuries , and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Vehicle was towed to the dealer.

7 Front Air Bag problem of the 2002 BMW 325

Failure Date: 10/14/2002

Right front passenger sustained severe eye injury as a result of the deployment of the right front airbag in a crash. Passenger suffers partial blindness. Undergone several surgeries. Passenger was female and smaller in stature.

Failure Date: 04/05/2002

Front right collision at 25-30 mph, neither airbag deployed. Consumer suffered injuries to face. Damage to vehicle was over $ 20000. 00.

9 Front Air Bag problem of the 2001 BMW 325

Failure Date: 03/14/2002

Consumer states vehicle was stopped at a red light and the passenger air bag deployed without warning causing injury to passenger.

10 Front Air Bag problem of the 2001 BMW 325

Failure Date: 09/26/2001

While driving approximately 20-25mph in residential area air bags deployed without any warning. Vehicle did not hit any potholes/curbs or bumps in road. Driver suffered injuries to right forearm/ side of head and back problems. No emergency room treatment. Private doctor next day.

11 Front Air Bag problem of the 2001 BMW 325

Failure Date: 03/31/2001

Consumer states while driving the passenger air bag deployed without impact, after deployment, consumer was startled and hit a curb and busted tire and wheel (claim# 43-r674-447).
