Takata recall. I received a card in the mail from BMW of north America informing me that there was a recall on the airbag for my 2003 BMW x5. When we called the dealership in amarillo texas, autoplex BMW, we were told by the service manager kendra that we are welcome to buy new cars from them but they will no longer honor warranty or recall. Work for anyone with the last name daneshfar or who is related to or affiliated with dr. Daneshfar. Is there any assistance you can give with this matter?3 the recall states that the inflator could cause serious injury or death if un resolved, does the BMW dealer have the right to refuse to perform the recall, jeprodizing my safety for whatever personal vendetta they have against dr. Daneshfar, my son? mino daneshfar (best person to contact) 806-340-3296.

On Wednesday, seotember 26 2018 - my car had been parked outside since Friday, sept 21. It had rained a great deal that weekend. At 1:00 in the afternoon, I went to get in the car and the windows were black from the inside. I had been smelling a strange electircal bruning smell all day. I did not open the door. I called the fire department. They arrived and investigated. The inside of the car on the drivers side dash was completely melted and the dash was still on fire inside. The pillar airbag had exploded and melted and had spewed plastic on the front seats. The upper driver side corner area of the windsheild was broken from the inside as though something had cataplulted into it from below. The pillar bag inflator was found on the floor of the car and was burnt in the bottom. The driver door panel had deployed. The car was a total loss.

Takata inflators VIN [xxx] 2003 BMW 325i kata inflators , hello , I'm [xxx] and I am very disappointed with BMW and its safety , I have been calling for my safety recall on the drivers side air bag on my BMW 325i 2003 since December of 2015, I was informed that the parts would be ready by spring, I have called several times and they change the date until the end of summer not giving a specific date , or hang up on my call. I think that if the vehicle has a recall it shouldn't be driven knowing that I'm risking my life or others lives . BMW has been rejecting the repair since early December . If then when will they repair ? and when will they provide me a transportation in the meanwhile? information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Takata inflators. I delivered the recall notice to coast BMW, the original selling dealer over a year ago. I was told I would receive a call when they would receive parts for my recall exchange. I never was contacted. Date stated below is an approximation.
In September 2014, I received an important safety recall from BMW USA. [recall campaign no. 14v-428: front passenger air bag]. According to the notice, the air bag supplier advised BMW that in the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the front passenger air bag, excessive internal pressure could cause rupturing of the air bag inflator, resulting in metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring the front passenger or other passengers. Unbelievably, BMW stated it did not have the parts to fix it. However, I would be notified "as soon as parts become available. " after hearing nothing from BMW, in February 2015 I contacted my dealer, san diego BMW, who said I needed to be on a list so they could call when parts became available. I gave the information and again waited. It is now April 24, 2015. I have heard nothing more from BMW and san diego BMW. I wrote to BMW at the email address provided last month and of course, got no response. This is a safety issue that should not involve 8 months of waiting. Recently, my mother in law died from just this situation [not involved in this recall]. I find it hard to believe that a car company can be required to recall a car for a safety item and then do nothing about it. Please advise me as to what can be done to get this fixed in a timely manner. Thank you.

The contact owns a 2006 BMW 325i. The contact stated that the air bag warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician diagnosed the air bag passenger side seat module was defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offered any assistance since the vehicle was not included in recall NHTSA campaign number: 13v564000 (air bags). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 96,000.
