Defogger Problems of Buick Lesabre

July 2007 my rear window stopped working. I opened the door panel and one of the parts was completely off and broken in half. 3 months later, the same thing happened to my front passenger window. Then 1 week ago, my rear passenger window did the same exact thing. I've owned a Buick Lesabre before and it was over 10 years old before the motor went out on only one window. I've spoken with other owners of the same make and model and the same thing happened to their windows. I'd understand if it were one window, but three windows and the same exact problem isn't right. Is there something you can do to fix it?.

While driving, the inside of vehicle fills with fumes from other cars, fumes from other cars and cold air enters vents, causing severe headaches, dealer says it is design intent.

A combination of odors were coming into the vehiclet hrough ventilation system. Vehicle has been at dealer's shop on several occasions, and problem was still there. Provide any further information.

On September 21, 2000 I had my Buick Lesabre to the dealer because the rear window defroster did not work. They replaced the module. The defroster than worked. On December 8, 2000, I was on my way home from work. I had my rear window defroster on, but it had shut off. I noticed an awful smell. As I was stopped at a stop light, I looked around for the source of the smell. As I glanced over my shoulder, flames were beginning to come through the panel between the rear window and the side window. I had the car towed to the dealer and they determined that it was the rear window module that had caused the fire. The car is being fixed and checked over by another service company. They are checking out the wiring to see if the defect might be some where else.
