Windshield Problems of Buick Lesabre

I was driving on the highway a few days before December 3, 2011, and I heard a loud "pop" sound from the back seat of my car. On the 3rd, I was driving along and started hearing the sound of an open window in the back seat. I tried to close the back-right window with the power window control on the driver's door, but it didn't move the window (I heard the motor running, though). I then parked the car and got out to try to pull/push the window shut, but it would not stay all the way up. I purchased the car on a cloudy day. When I did, I did not realize that there was a scratch in the windshield. When I took it back to the dealer, they told me it was a used car, it was sold as is. It was my responsibility, not theirs. I think it is irresponsible of them to sell a car with a scratched windshield.

During the day light hours dashboard reflects off the windshield. Dealer suggested that the consumer place a black cover on the dashboard. Consumer claimed that if a black cover was used it would disable the heads up display.

Reduced & impaired visibility through front windshield due to reflection of dash/slope of windshield. Causes loss of clarity, especially during bright daylight driving.

Loss of vision through windshield, vary severe in sun.

Consumer was unable to see out of the front windshield, a reflection from the windshield caused a glow.

Defroster vent on dash is designed in such a way that it reflects off the windshield even on a cloudy day. Consumer is unable to drive vehicle due to this reflection. Dealer admitted it was a design flaw, but has no remedy.

Windshield has cracked three times under normal driving conditions, and has been replaced on each occasion.

While driving in the rain the windshield wipers make windows smear and look like the have oil on them, affecting consumer's ability to see. Consumer feels there is a defect in the windshield, not in the wipers because he took vehicle to the dealer, they replaced windshield wipers and tried to clean windshield 4 times, but problem still exists.

Slope of the windshield and color of the dashboard causing reflections which create poor visibility. Mjs.

While driving approximately. 25-40mph, would hear noises coming through doors & windows when they were closed. Would not hear noise at lower speeds. Contacted 3 different dealers & each mechanic had test driven vehicle. Informed by 1 mechanic the problem can not be corrected.

Material that the dash board is made out off, and the bottom of the windshield blind consumer's vision when a very high percentage of light hits that part of the window. Dealer has been contacted.

Windshield glares and reflects causing poor visibility while driving. Yh.

There is a reflection from the windshield which is very blinding to the driver. Also the defroster vent on the dash reflects off the windshield so that visibility is impaired. Dealer has no fix. My fix was to place a dark rug on the dash. I feel that this is a design flaw and the manufacturer should correct it.

Design of vehicle when front windows are up and the back windows are down, vehicle experience vibration / shaking.

A reflection is created from the dash board across the total windshield 12 anches above the dash board creating a gray area. . Within this area the defroster is projected on the windshield creating a very distracting & annoying image distracting my view of the road. When gm was contacted ,they contacted the dealer who stated "I should have the windshield lightly tinted.

When air conditioner is on it causes one forth of the front windshield to fog over, causing poor visibility. The wipers must be turned on or the air conditioner turned off to clear. This occurs when window is cool, either early morning or late evenings, when there is not sun.

No matter what cloth or lining placed on dash, reflection shows upon windshield. Please describe details. Tt.

Windshield is very difficult to see through due to reflection of the dash from inside vehicle.
