Front Air Bag Sensor Control Problems of Buick Regal

Obd warning b0074, b0081 - pps module faulty - cannot detect passenger weight in car, therefore disabled the passenger airbag. After some research, I am seeing multiple gm issues on the same error, obd b0081, faulty pps sensor on comaros and volts.

The contact owns a 2011 Buick Regal. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power. The vehicle was pushed to the side of the road and restarted. The vehicle was taken to an independnent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the ecm, crank sensor, and mass air flow sensor were defective and needed to be replaced. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 23,000.

The problem was noticed about a month ago. While driving the air bag light came on all the time. The light stayed on for a while and then went off, like it went on for 20 minutes, and stayed off for 10 minutes. Then, it came back on. The car has front and side air bags. Vehicle has never been wrecked. Recall 00v371000 was issued, but this vehicle was not included in the recall. It has been repaired and will be picked up today. Owner had to pay half the cost, and the vehicle has 22,000 miles on it.

The air bag sensor light came on and stayed on without warning. The dealer stated the air bag module needs to be replaced. Please provide additional information.
