Can not get local dealership to perform recall work on vehicle. I have also contacted gm and they merely reiterated what the dealer says. "no seals". They are saying rear seals for 2007 Cadillac Cts are on back order and they do not know when they will get more. Meanwhile vehicle sounds like you are running over someone when you put it in reverse and proceed to back up. Meanwhile I am driving an unsafe vehicle. I am afraid to drive my vehicle.

: the contact stated while driving 65 mph under normal road conditions, the rear tires locked. There were no warnings prior to the incident. The vehicle was taken to the service dealer, who determined that the rear axle fractured. The rear pinion seals leaked which caused the axle to seize. Updated 01/19/07.

August 2005, 4 months after purchasing car, both rear tires worn out from the inside out with 4000 miles on the car, took car in for warranty on tires and rear end, gm denied claim. Had to purchase 2 new tires and have the frame aligned. January 2006, car slightly hits curb and right rear causing no damage to tire and scrap to wheel, rear differently broken and axle, again gm denies claim.
