Car Stall Problems of Cadillac CTS

Tl the contact owns a 2014 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that while driving and making a left turn, the vehicle stalled with several unknown warning lights illuminated. Roadside assistance was contacted and the vehicle was jump started. The vehicle was driven to the residence. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed nor repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer were informed of failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.

The vehicle will stall while cruising to a stop light, while at idle and sometime while accelerating. I've read a lot of posts online about this issue but no one has a solution. I got stranded on the highway in the middle lane once too. Gm will not do anything about it. The vehicle is in the shop right now and my diagnosis fee its over $750 and there is still no resolution for this issue!!! this issue is an ongoing issue for years now!!!.

The vehicle was pushed to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the main shaft, transfer case fluid, output shaft, gasket infield, fluid transmission dex6, and the shot supplies needed to be replaced. The crank and cam sensors have caused the vehicle to stall out while driving or being stopped. I have seen several complaints online regarding this issue in my car and other gm cars. How many complaints have you received for this issue in gm cars. It seems the dealership should have recalled this since it is a well known and documented issue and is a safety issue with cars stalling in the middle of driving and while being stopped. I stalled on a freeway on ramp, at a stop sign and while being parked on the side of the road.

I had just gfiled a complaint on my Cts and thought I should add that it almost stalled out on a steephill with a major intersction, quit after I started it in my drive on a level ground. No stalling sound to give warning. I am sure there is more, but these are the easy ones. Again, Cadillac customer service said it the stopping in traffic only happened once, so not so bad!.

Vehicle stalled or tried to stall in traffic while in motion at approximate speeds of 25-35 mph approximately 10 times over a distance of approximately 6-8 miles. Was towed to dealer. On 10-18-11 service advisor called me and advised complaint could not be duplicated and had performed normally during a test drive (approximately 1 mile) and vehicle could be picked up. Vehicle was picked up and performed normally for approximately 10 miles and then stalled twice while in motion in traffic at speeds of approximately 25-35 mph. Vehicle again was towed to same dealer. On 10-21-11 I was advised problem was experienced during a test drive of approximately 15 miles. Vehicle remains at dealership pending a solution to problem.
