Car Will Not Start Problems of Cadillac Escalade

The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that the vehicle would not start, the electrical system was not working, and the air bag indicator illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer (mark christopher auto center, located at east convention center way, ontario, CA 91764, 909-390-2920) where it was diagnosed that the electrical system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 78,000.

The truck was in motion on street and on freeway, the speed drops and it feels like it's going to cut off. The windows will not go up or down, the radio shuts off and, all the dashboard lights are on. This has happened at least 3 separate times (twice this year) different dates. There should be 3 pictures shown of that. -last week the vehicle would not start, the battery is 1 yr. Old- good, the radio would not come on, interior lights all worked. Towed to a shop diagnostic was the passenger airbag modular. The airbag light still won't go off. -when the vehicle was purchased in 2015 the service suspension alert was on, the dealer (suburban Cadillac in sterling heights, mi) said "don't worry about it right now", this year there the truck started making a buzzing noise. Every mechanic diagnosis something different. Of course the warranty ran out before it started.

: the contact stated the vehicle failed to start after being parked for one or two days. This problem occurred on four occasions. On one occasion, the dealership replaced the battery but this did not remedy the problem. The dealership could not duplicate the problem on all other occasions. The consumer stated the vehicle has been in the shop 17 times, since the vehicle was purchased. The cd player was inoperative. The heated seat was inoperative. The fuel tank and fog light was replaced updated 09/25/06.

While turning a corner the vehicle stalled. The consumers vehicle was towed in for service. Fuel was put into the tank but the vehicle still would not start. It was finally determined that the ignition circuit was inoperable.

Constant problems with vehicle not starting. Towed to dealer, replaced fuel pump and battery. The consumer stated that the ignition circuit was inoperable. The battery had a defective cell and had to be replaced. After the battery was replaced the vehicle would not start again.
