The horn failed to sound when it was needed. This seems to occur when the horn is not used for some time. I had this exact problem on my 2004 Cadillac Escalade ext, and I think a recall should be done to resolve this problem on all gm cars and trucks involved. I am tired of being scared when my horn does not work. After a year, gm should have had this problem resolved. I think NHTSA should now resolve it for them!.

The horn does not always sound. There seems to be a bad connection in the horn pad at the steering wheel. If the horn is not used for a while, it will not sound when you need it. But after you get it to work, it will work every time until you don't use it again for a while.

My complaint is with your assessment that I might get "confused" by informaition furnished by automakers regarding safety defects perhaps you are a little confused about your responsibilities. Your arrogance astounds me. It appears you are no better than the fda, a sorry bunch of drug company puppets.
