I had my 2015 Escalade esv in the shop for a software upgrade and was informed that both my radiator and front struts were leaking. My truck has 40,677 miles on it. The dealer quoted me 1,532 for the radiator and 1,822 for the front struts.

2 Radiator problem of the 2014 Cadillac Escalade

Radiator leak discovered. Problem with cycling of the thermostat that causes stress fractures on the radiator leading to coolant leaks. Gm bulletins on the 2014 and 2015 models. P11513a and p11513f. This was leaking for a while and was not noticed until multi point inspection I requested by the service center I use for service. (b&b service center, farmington nh. This was a know issue on this model vehicle.

3 Radiator problem of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade

Failure Date: 01/25/2019

S10 dot/I: letter from congressman cline on behalf of constituent regarding the difficulty she is experiencing with her 2015 Cadillac Escalade (attn: kjersten croke). The consumer stated the vehicle's radiator leaked due to excessive recycling of the thermostat. Coolant was leaking from the radiator tubes. This failure was repaired per the technical bulletin 9i1513e. The vehicle would vibrate. Repairs were attempted, but the vibrations recurred. The trim on the drivers side was loose. The interior and exterior lights would remain on after the vehicle was powered off causing the battery to die. The dealership was unable to determine the cause of the failure.

4 Radiator problem of the 2007 Cadillac Escalade

Failure Date: 11/23/2011

The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags); however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. While driving approximately 65 mph, the contact crashed into a deer that ran out in the road. The deer struck the vehicle's windshield. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed. A police report was filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to a body shop and the bumper, fog lamps, tow bracket cover, air deflector, fan motors, and radiator were repaired. The contact stated the engine warning indicator illuminated and the lifter was malfunctioning. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and several other things were repaired on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
