Brake Hoses, Lines/piping, And Fittings Problems of Cadillac SRX

3of my brake line burst at a stop light when stopping in a shop now aren't the line made of high grade metal that should last life of the car.

The brake lines on my 2008 Cadillac have rusted through causing the brakes to fail, and cause other damage to the bottom line of the car.

Took the car to the supermarket & as I was driving home I went to stop at a red light & my brakes completely failed. There was no warning, thank god I was not going fast and I was not hit by another car. Brake fluid had completely drained out of the system. Got my car towed to repair shop where we have all our cars serviced. Mechanic said all the brake lines were all rotted/rusted. Can't get parts anymore, they have to 'fabricate' them. Price to repair $1200. 00 my car only has 58k & is garaged. I do live on long island but have never driven through any floods. Cadillac says 'car is too old for any recourse on their part'. What else is new. I lost my brakes in an instant with no warning. I'm grateful I did not cause an accident or get myself killed. Have read online that this has been an issue. I guess you can add my car to your statistics. I guess I could ask mechanic for pictures if you would like to see. While driving I pushed on the brakes and the peddle went to the floor. I got it to the repair shop and was told that the brake line was rusted out. I had it replaced. It has happened to 3 different brake lines. The latest was just last week, going up my daughters driveway.
