Two problems related to brake antilock control unit/module have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
(1)brake pedal went to the floor (2)pumped it about 3 or 4 times and it regained pressure, tried a few panic stops ok (3)called chevy dealer who said no recall notice, nothing done yet (*)this had also happened once about a year ago for the first time.
The sensor light to the abs system came on while pulling off from a red light due to possible abs system failure.
