I have a 1996 chevy Blazer 4wd 4. 3l central port fuel injection. The #4 fuse which is my gauge fuse keeps blowing and when it blows my instrument cluster zeros out and I have no clue what my speed is what my rpms are what my fuel level its, etc. My alternator stops charging and my vehical eventually stalls out due to the battery draining.

The vehicle stalled without warning, which caused the consumer to pull over abruptly.
Consumer owned a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer which he purchased in January 2002. The vehicle stalled six times in 2002, two times in 2004, and two times on July 21, 2005. The vehicle was never taken to the dealership for this problem. Also, the consumer has not contacted the manufacturer. This happened at any speed. The vehicle did not always start right up. The problem was more persistent in the summer.

Consumer states that the vehicle would stalls intermittently at muliple speed without warning. Dealer inspected the vehicle and determied the fuel pump is failing. Feel free to provide any further information.
Original camshaft position sensor replaced-- was seeping oil and saturating wiring, causing vehicle to stall. Replacement sensor is now malfunctioning in the same manner. Dealer is replacing again.
