Accelerator sticking. From standing start, accelerators pedal requires considerable pressure to move from resting position. As pedal is depressed, vehicle jumps forward before operator can remove pressure. Complaints to dealer resulted in the estimate of a $100. 00 charge to clean carbon from throttle body and apply a chemical treatment to help prevent further sticking. This should not be a maintenance item as it could result in uncontrolled acceleration, possible loss of control, and accident. Dealer diagnosis was almost instantaneous so the problem must be a common one.

Engine cut off and locks while driving at highway speed of 60-65 mph. Dealer and manufacturer were notified. Feel free to provide any further infromation.
The suspension on the vehicle. . . The control arm upper and lower ball joints and the sensors for the bas brakes all went at once. . . Also the gasoline sensors in the vehicle. . The gas amount never registers and the needle flips back and forth and I have researched similiar reports on the net and have found that all these issues are a major frequently occuring problem with the vehicles. . . I own a 2000 chevy Blazer. . . I feel that the manufacturer of this vehicle should be fixing this problems. . . I have already paid for the ball joints and upper/lower arm and sensor to be fixed at a massive cost to me of over 1000. 00 the vehicle is constantly having to have repairs done some of which are due to normal wear and tear but for all kinds of sensors to be going a truck is ridiculous. . I am also as of a week ago experiencing problems with the door locks. . . The fuse for that equipment blows on a regualr basis. . I have paid for vehicle diagnostics throught the portsmouth nh chevy dealer and they have found all kinds of other major problems with this vehicle. . The cost of the vehicle was 18000 and by next year I will probably have spent $6-7000 trying to fix this vehicle.
Just to make you aware, vehicle is leased. I dropped it of at the local dealer yesterday right after it happened but I do not know when they will look at it. I will contact chevy customer service in the morning as they are closed on the weekend. No safety defect listed.

The housing around the condenser is broken and crumbles at the slightest touch. I am worried engine fumes are getting into my car via the hole. The front passenger automatic lock unlocks about 30% or less when the door is shut. It seems to try but not beable to unlock the door, but when door is open it works fine.
Very dangerous, vehicle quits without warning while driving.
When the air conditioner compressor is running there is a noticeable loss of power. When accellerating from a stop it is necessary to increase the pressure on the gas pedal to compensate for the loss of power if the compressor cycles on. If the compressor cycles off during acceleration you need to let up on the gas pedal to compensate for the increase of power. The dealer has been made aware of the problem and have tried to repair the problem but now claim this is normal for this vehicle. I have owned two other Blazers and they did not have this problem. I also have driven another 1999 Blazer and it did not display this problem. This vehicle is not safe to drive. I has been necessary to turn off the a/c in traffic. Any help you may be able to give me on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I plan to file for arbitration with the bbb as per the manufactures warranty.
When coming to a stop, vehicle idle speed surges to 1200 rpm, instead of its usual 700 rpm, causing car to move forward into car ahead. This is intermitant, @ only occurs when car is in gear. Problem is handled by shifting to neutral when preparing to stop. .
When starting engine starts and car just sputters along. Sometimes consumer can go only 20mph, and if on a highway, it may cause an accident.
