3 Horn Assembly problem of the 1998 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 02/05/2004

1998 z28: have experienced fuel pump failure (replaced by dealer circa June 99) also, experiencing an erratic fuel gage. . . Reading fuel for a lengthy period of time, then suddenly drops to less than 2/3. Intermittent horn function: complete horn failure; however, if you shut the engine off and restart horn will work. Front rotor warping repeatedly. Manufacture denies there is a problem, says driver is overheating brakes. I believe the problem is rotors are poorly designed. Also found if you don't drive through water when rotors are hot that this will help. Slow acceleration after cold startup. However, if you shut engine down and restart acceleration will be normal.

4 Horn Assembly problem of the 2000 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 04/01/2001

There is a clunk/rattle/thump coming from the rear end, through the driveshaft. The power window on the passenger side sticks when going down and is slow when going up. The horn has been replaced once for a moisture problem, now is having same problem: also, the horn button on steering wheel doesn't work 100% of the time. Next, the owner's manual doesn't advise when the change rear axle fluid. Lastly, the power steering pump leaks fluid. The cap was replaced once, then it was adjusted. I still have a problem with power steering fluid spewing from under the cap.

5 Horn Assembly problem of the 2000 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 10/20/2000

The horn has two levels of noise, one of the levels of noise completely went out. Upon looking at it, we found that the horn was filled with water (thereby muffling the horn noise). The horn should be a sealed component on the car and should not allow leakage. This care has never been driven in any high water. Thus, this water could only have been accumulated by rain.
