The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the rke (remote keyless entry) transmitter assembly failed. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, his knee accidentally bumped the ignition key, moving the key out of the run position and turning the vehicle off. The vehicle was taken to snell motors located at 1900 madison Ave, mankato, mn 56001, and was diagnosed. The contact was informed that the body control module and keys needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer then informed the contact that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 19e064000 (electrical system). The failure mileage was approximately 33,000.

2 Ignition Module problem of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 02/22/2017

In first three years, the electronic ignition module was replaced three times. On the third time, it was found that the ignition wiring harness was not for a Camaro. It was incorrectly installed at the factory. Secondly, just three weeks ago, four of my car's six fuel injectors went bad. My car only had 74,000 miles on it. All six injectors were replaced at my cost of $2812. 00! outrageous! both times, my car was being driven on a city street.

3 Ignition Module problem of the 1996 Chevrolet Camaro

Consumer states there are two problems with the computer aided gear selection, it physically prevents him from using 2nd or 3rd gear when shifting from first, it also makes it difficult for consumer to move any gear when enabled, he states he struggles with the gear shift for up to two seconds.

Ignition control module has failed twice. Ignition coils have failed 3 times. Car vibrates or shuts off when coils or module goes bad. Engine has bad miss when coils or module are going out.
