I am the not so proud owner of a 2007 chevy Cobalt. I have less than 30,000 miles on the vehicle and have already had the head gasket replaced. Upon doing some research to see if this was a common problem, I found that the power steering failure issue is huge!!!! I have not had the problem myself, but know a couple of people who have and as I'm sure you are aware, there are hundreds and hundreds of people who have. Some have gotten into accidents, others were extremely lucky. What will it take to get chevy to announce a recall? will it take the ultimate sacrifice? how many people will have to die to have this taken care of. Driving the chevy Cobalt is like driving a time bomb. . . . . . Just waiting for anything to freeze up and make driving a nightmare. Please get with chevy and issue a recall. I really hope something gets down about this issue and soon. There are many, many new, inexperienced drivers behind the wheel of this car. Let's save those young lives, as well as everyone else who drives this dangerous vehicle.
