Changed the battery. Causes the door switch to go out. The driver's side window, the door locks and keyless entry will not work. You need to hope the window is not down if you change batteries or have a dead battery needing a jump start. The dealer charged me $400 for a new switch. A check of the internet shows many many people have had the same problem.

Had blower problems with a/c, would not work on 1 - 3, only on 4. Now bower has stopped working completely. And, approx. 5 days after blower went out completely, electrical system will not cut off on it's own even after key is removed from ignition. I am resorting to disconnecting battery source every time. I am a chassis specialist with International trucks assembly plant in texas so I know the all too familiar signs of a defective chassis harness. The issue with the brake light recall is gm's attempt to repair an electrical jumper off the rear harness, solving nothing.

Left power window, power door locks, clock radio, dome light quit working randomly. Dealer cannot duplicate problem. Onstar doesn't work sometimes. Battery seems to go dead if it sits more than 5 days, remote for door locks range is horrible but they say it's normal to have to stand right next to the truck to unlock / lock it.
Battery on Colorado keeps going dead. 4 trips to the dealer for solution to this problem. Replaced body control module and battery.
Air is seeping out of the passenger side glass because it may not have been properly sealed at the factory. Also, the battery warning lights comes on upon starting the vehicle. The light dims then brightens as the vehicle is driven. This indicates a failure in the battery. Although the battery is fine. This maybe due to an electrical short. Dealership is not being helpful with resolving any of the problems.
In very cold windy weather the battery light in drivers information center will come on and warning chime will ding twice. Light goes off. Problem does not repeat, unless the vehicle is turned off. Vehicle taken into the dealership for repair four (4) times. All repair attempts have failed, and dealership cannot duplicate problem due to the warmer weather conditions by the time an appointment is obtained at the dealership. Problem continues to happen, in cold weather.
