Navigational (global Positioning System) Gps Problems of Chevrolet Colorado

Not sure if this is your typical safety issue. Voice activation button @ rh side of steering wheel failed approx. One month after vehicle purchase. This button allows one to call out, use gps, vehicle functions, radio, etc "handsfree". Message @ infotainment screen stated "click here to purchase subscription" which I was not made aware of by anyone involved w/ sale. Cell phone will link up w/ vehicle manually for sending or receiving calls, but requires holding phone to start or end them (and pick who you want to call). . . Which is illegal in California and unsafe. Inquiring w/ onstar led to having to pay for monthly subcription to "reenable" functionality. Seeing as this is a safety item, I wonder why I would be required to pay a monthly 45. 00 fee for it to function. Had a 2015 Ford that worked perfectly. . . For free.

The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado. The contact stated that while driving at unknown speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated. Additionally, the navigational system and radio continued to reboot, and volume increased to high levels without driver interaction. The contact replaced bank two and valve two and stated that the cam shaft exhaust was faulty. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the failure was due to bank two, the cam shaft, and that the vehicle was idling roughly. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the local dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
