The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. On 4/29/07 while sitting at a stop light preparing to drive the clutch would not engage, causing the rpms to increase at a higher rate. The driver smelled smoke and oil burning. This incident occurred twice within the same day. The dealer stated that they could not diagnose the failure. The current and failure mileage was 1000.
