Clutch Problems of Chevrolet Corvette

The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that the vehicle was making an abnormal noise. The dealer diagnosed that the clutch and rear axle needed to be replaced. The contact could not determine if the failure was repaired. Additionally, the driver and passenger doors would not open. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. On 4/29/07 while sitting at a stop light preparing to drive the clutch would not engage, causing the rpms to increase at a higher rate. The driver smelled smoke and oil burning. This incident occurred twice within the same day. The dealer stated that they could not diagnose the failure. The current and failure mileage was 1000.

Clutch would not disengage after high or low rpm the clutch remained engaged. Was able to work it loose after recyling the clutch pedal.
