The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated while driving at 60mph, when they noticed the vehicle began to jerk back and forth and the check engine warning light illuminated on the vehicle. The vehicle would not accelerate the contact continued to drive to the next highway exit and turn on their hazard lights and drove slow to their residence. The contact took the vehicle to local dealer who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the failure as the rocker arm all flow control console inoperable and would need to be replaced. The local dealer was able to replaced the part. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 91,500.
