The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 mph, when the vehicle's timing chain began to make a rattling noise and jumped causing the vehicle to stall. Turn signal lights failed during normal operation. Dealership examined vehicle and determined that hazard light switch was the cause of problem. Dealer replaced hazard warning switch. Weatherstrip around both rear side windows deformed, as well as both door panels, dealer replaced weatherstrip and door panels, experiencing ticking and whinning noise from engine, dealer states this was normal.

Engine misfiring diagnostics indicated 3,6,2,5 cylinders misfiring replaced all ignition coil packs problem continues. Turn signal buzzes and clicks hazard switch replaced. Air leak around passenger side door reported 2 times 1st time couldn't duplicate 2nd time door realigned. Brakes cause excessive vibrations upon stopping rotors and pads replaced at 24000 miles reoccuring at 38000 miles.

Vechicle made a rattling noise. Took it to the dealer & found the pistons had to be replaced. Dealer said that the noise was common.
There is a rattling noise in engine due the pistons being too small. Also, it is causing gas to run out quicker. Dealer has fixed problem. Consumer beleives this problem is a manufacturer's defect, consumer states this motor was used in the cehvrolet lumina also, same factory pitons were put back in engine when overhauled.
