The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu maxx purchased in 2004. The rear view mirror began to fall off of the vehicle while in motion. Her independent mechanic found hairline cracks where the mirror mounts to the vehicle. The mirror was reapplied. This occurred several times thereafter. No repairs have been made to date to correct the actual failure. The failure mileage was under 10,000. The current was 48,000.

When driving rearview interior mirror would vibrate, causing a visible distortion. Have taken vehicle to dealership several times and had mirror tightened, but not replaced. Also, this happens when radio is turned on. Outside exterior mirrors do not vibrate. Mechanic indicated problem is normal. Dealer switched mirrors, but problem still exist.
